Hey All, I'm a newbie here posting on behalf of my mum, who has just been diagnosed with stage 1A ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC). She had her debulking surgery in late Jan and is now being offered watch and wait or adjuvant chemotherapy as options. I've read that OCCC is chemo resistant.

Anyone with low grade serous carcinoma? Any advice on managing to stay healthy without HRT?

I was dignosed with primary peritoneal carcinoma about 4 months ago, stage 3 C. Paclitaxel and Carboplatin proved too much for me and I ended up in hospital. Just on Carboplatin now and have my 5th chemo on Monday. My tumour markers have come down. Is this good news? Manetta

My husband has untreated CLL and is now being treated for a second squamous cell carinmona (SCC) ie. skin cancer. I've just read a study published in the British Journal of Cancer (August 2024) that looked at the possible role of CLL in accelerating SCC development due to receptor tyrosine kinase AXL

I posted here before about my dad, aged 76 was diagnosed with intraductal carcinoma with no invasive carcinoma found from MRI-guided fused biopsy. PSMA PET scan is clear, only mild uptake inside prostate matching previous MRI lesion finding. More detailed summary on bios.

Lymph nodes left pelvic area ,dissection, negative for metatastic carcinoma in 4 nodes ( 0/4) {inguinal netting in the way} Lymph nodes right pelvic area, dissection, neg. carcinoma in 10 nodes (0/10) prostate wt. 64 gms. Attached bladder neck muscle shows no gross tumor involvment.

He had a biopsy in Jan 2025, It showed intraductal carcinoma involving all of his left sided cores and no definitive invasive carcinoma was identified in any of the cores. Cores on the right are all benign.

Carcinoma present 2 of 3 cores approximately 10% of the tissue. My decipher score is 0.37, Low risk. I’ve reviewed the side effects. What I’d like to know is what would you do differently both pre and post procedure? Thanks. Ralph

They found an incidental unifocal papillary carcinoma (2.4mm) (following total thyroid removal). I have been told that it is unlikely there is anything further to be done, but have to wait 2-3 weeks for a multi consultant meeting.

Given the recurrence pattern, I’m wondering if this strongly points to small-cell carcinoma of the prostate (SCCP) in the lymph nodes and lungs.

The same night they found a large mass on my left kidney which turned out to be renal cell carcinoma. In July I had my kidney removed and was recovering nicely or so I thought. September rolls around and my whole world collapses in on me. I wad diagnosed with MDD and anxiety in early December.

Then started niraparib in August 23 until may 24 as ca125 had shot up to 7413 and ct scan found significant peritoneal carcinoma. Niraparib stopped and had 6 months of weekly carboplatin until November 24. My ca125 was 20 in January of this year and last week gone up to 189.
