Any pearls or tips from those who are beating the odds and surviving hepatocellular
carcinoma
? I was diagnosed 3 months ago and am currently on immunotherapy. I've tried not to get buried in the statistics regarding hepatocellular
carcinoma

Treatment Centers
Does anyone know the best treatment center for Hepatocellular
Carcinoma
? I know that MD Anderson is always ranked #1 for "Cancer"; but didn't know how they ranked in "HCC". I realized when a family member had pancreatic cancer 7 years ago, the best center depended on the "type" of cancer.

My Urologist took some tissue samples which unfortunately were positive for urothelial
carcinoma
. Muscularis propria was present and involved. I have to see another urologist who specializes in bladder cancer. Does anyone know of what is the standard treatment for this type of bladder cancer?

Seeking advice from Lynparza, Rubraca or Zejula patients.
About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian high grade mullerian
carcinoma
- stage 3b. After a left oophorectomy, I began a regimen of 6 rounds of the combo Taxol/Carboplatin as it is commonly prescribed for this condition and stage.

Parps
I was diagnosed with Stage 2b High Grade Serous
Carcinoma
in July, finished chemo last month. My cancer nurse mentioned that I might need to go on parp inhibitors, she would talk to my oncologist. I have no experience of parps. Do parps slow down/stop the return of cancer?

the dreaded virus
I explained I’m supposed to have my dressing off on my leg for the
carcinoma
I had removed. It’s ten days today and the dresssing should be changed today. . He said he would send out a district nurse. I said are you trying to set off World War three.

Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Whenever I go to see a doctor I feel like I never get positive news. The first oncologist I saw (once) told me I had 12 months to live. Any similar experiences?

Chemo Side Effects
I was diagnosed with primary peritoneal
carcinoma
in January 2018. I had four chemos consisting of carboplatin and taxol. Then, I had debulking surgery followed by four more chemos. My CA 125 had dropped to between 3 and 6 for almost five years.

Hoarse voice after thyroid surgery
Hello - I am 28 years old and I had a diagnostic thyroid lobectomy (right side) 5 weeks ago, histology results found it was follicular thyroid
carcinoma
but thankfully MDT concluded it was non -invasive so no further treatment has been recommended at this time.

I had an op on my leg for a

New Diagnosis. My cancer has morphed…
so now I have Sarcomatiod
Carcinoma
of the Prostate. I’ve failed everything else and I’ve been offered Pluvicto. I have not had my psma scan but I have a question, is PSA and PSMA directly related?

Am I being stupid by delaying treatment for mild hyperthyroidism when I don't have any symptons?
Apart from
carcinoma
in situ and pagets disease of the breasts for which I have had surgery but never taken medication, and the thrombosis in my legs which only occurred after my Astra Zeneca vaccine, I am generally in good health.
