Reposting of comments on depression and the gut. How to heal the gut naturally
The following has been copied from another thread and covers issues about the role of the gut in depression, and ACAC has such useful advice here about how to heal the gut that I have reposted it for people who missed that thread. My husband has had depression and anxiety for quite a few years prior

Following on from yesterday and the presentation on Keto low carb diets - Dr. Paul Mason - 'Low Carb from a Doctor's perspective'
To prove it works, I am copying and pasting my reply to one of our friends. Hope it helps you more in deciding whether a Keto is for you or not and my previous experience, which I now regret, did not follow through. I think the Dr said in his presentation, that we are all different and that our carb

Are You Missing These Steps to Health?
For at least the last 100 years or so many "experts" have had an incomplete understanding of what it takes to greatly improve insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Their advice? Reduce carbs as much as you can stand. It's just common sense, right? If you have too much glucose in your blood, stop eating

RA, Gluten and Leaky Gut
I’m so very confused! I was diagnosed with RA and was given Naproxen (despite being given this before and no effect, they didnt listen to me) I’ve been asked to go on a gluten free diet, as Gluten may be my trigger. But does Naproxen has gluten in? Not only that, I have 9/10 symptoms of leaky gut..

Here's an article by James Crownover, MD called Your Joints on Cake. They've connected osteoarthritis to insulin resistance and a high carb diet. Wow. https://crownmd.net/your-joints-on-cake/ Yet another reason to go low carb. If the admins would rather not put in a link, just google Your Joints on Cake
