Dr. Daniela Jakubowicz Tel Aviv University has published some papers indicating high energy breakfast alters gene expression and helps to control blood sugar.

It is similar to the old saying: eat breakfast like a king, lunch like prince and dinner like popper.

Yesterday, my pp after LCHF dinner was 107, but after 12 hours of overnight fasting, the number is 127.

Since I am also doing IF for about 14 to 18 hours, it is easy for me to skip breakfast rather than skipping lunch or dinner.

Can anyone suggest what will be a better diet plan to achieve my goals? I see conflicting recommendations. I'm type 2 for the last 14 years. I want to reverse my insulin resistance and abdominal obesity. My bmi is 24. I'm a Vegeterian, but I can eat eggs. The A1c is between 6.2 to 6.7 in the last 10 months. With high carb diet pp goes around 230.

Hiya,

The devil is in the detail with this report. All the T2 patients were of a mature age with obesity and on insulin. I'm taking this with a pinch of salt because it does not say exactly what they ate and the total calories consumed.

TT.

The cure is in your post.

Until you get rid of abd obesity your blood sugar would remain erratic and high.
