Advice on labs needed please
Also, my D has dropped, I was advised to stop supplements due to high
calcium
and phosphorus levels, but think I might need to start again at least for the winter. I'm not involving the endo at this stage, she'd just panic about the TSH! It seems that's all they care about!!! Thanks for advice

Does biopsy help? Appreciate any feedback or personal experience.
Currently I am ARB's(40 mg) and
Calcium
channel blockers(antihypertensive drug 5 mg). I dont know if its worth getting it done or not. Trying to avoid a procedure unless its needed. Potential suspect: IGA nephropathy.

Roller Coaster Ride
Result - I went straight for a hip X-ray, booked in blood tests for
calcium
and Vitamin D levels, the doctor is referring me to a rheumatologist and gave clear and concise instructions for painkillers and Pred. At last someone had listened and acted. Our relief was phenomenal.

MRI-guided transperineal biopsy hurt so much
I'm curious if folks have recommendations about how to reduce what was an unbearable pain from the biopsy. I almost passed out and the thought of my next biopsy gives me cold sweats. What hurt was the process of the anesthetic injections. Each one at a deeper layer. It's clear that the anesthetic did

Question regarding Iodine
I have low blood
calcium
, and parathyroid issues, so I have no choice but to take
calcium
. I have been taking plant based
calcium
from seaweed because I heard it is better for you. But I am now concerned about the iodine. I take 2 tablets daily which equates to 0.0088350mg of iodine.

Others don’t understand
I know we’re all usually talking about our meds, but I’m wondering how everybody is faring when trying to explain to others what we go through. I’ve had my adult children question why I take oxycodone. Some seem to understand, some are very judgmental. RLS can start at 10:30 am, and is why I’m spreading

Looking for advice after recent chest pain.
I was referred to the chest pain clinic and the nurse wants to repeat the CT Angiography because of the
calcium
score and mild LAD atheroma finding from 2018. My questions are: How bad is a
calcium
score of 6 with mild LAD atheroma? How much would it have progressed in 4 years?

Update 7.4
Now on for a CT Cardiac
Calcium
Screen, Cardiac Stress test, and Echocardiogram. The incidents of tachycardia have actually been decreasing but we are going to do a more thorough check of cardiac status due to the occasions unexplained mild tachypnea I have experienced recently.

Turning things around
I dont need any medication but he has advised to take
calcium
for my bones due to my age(I’m 58) and all I now need is a routine ultrasound scan in around 6 months time, possibly with a follow up telephone appointment.

Wandering Scot presently living in Mexico and recently diagnosed with PMR
When I started the prednisone I started a
calcium
supplement with vitamin D. I’ll also add vitamin K. I have given up alcohol completely as I’ve found that for me it doesn’t react well with prednisone.

BONE HELP
So many people take their
calcium
and magnesium together and that is a mistake. They fight for absorbancy and money is just being thrown away doing it this way. I will never take meds for my condition.

Exercise query
The consultant I had today said as I'm not tolerating the medication and ranges are low recommends I only take the Vit D/
calcium
tablets for 3 years. Ince I reach this point have another scan and go from here. Sounds good to me.

Second Opinion?
The answer was, No....your psa is steady, and you're already doing all you can with the
calcium
, d3, magnesium, and Xgeva. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
