I'm not sure if this is a result of a night time seizure or ME/CFS/fibro related

I get random bruising all the time it happens so easily. Woke up with this the other morning though. My boots had been hurting my ankles more slightly uncomfortable. This has got worse on my ankle and I'm not sure what has caused it .

Hi there, golly that looks painful, I really think you need to go and see your GP with this. There are causes of random bruising but it is best if you seek medical assistance on this one. If you had a seizure would you have been aware of it or can you have them and not be aware, poor you !

Sending lots of positive healing vibes :-)

Hi, just went up to the hospital to get it checked. He said it looked like a tendon had tore and their was suspicious bleeding around it. I've to be checked for clotting or bruising In the blood. Going on wednesday early on my day off lol x

Thanks it's like one thing after the other but at least docs are taking some notice.

Well done, I'm so pleased you've sought medical help. I bruise very easily because I have a clotting disorder similar to haemophilia called Von Willebrands, but I'm sure they will find out exactly what is going on with your bruising.

Very best wishes,

Yeah my mum was urging Me to go and the pain was soo bad when I tried to make the train for college. I thought I better be safe than sorry.

My nana had a similar condition her arms went black and blue for no reason. It could be genetic. I suppose they might get to the bottom of it with these bloods on wednesday.

Thanks hopefully they will get to the bottom of it. I do bruise easily so it's not always painful.

It has got worse this week on my knees and all over my legs for no reason. I have been exerting myself a bit more though. X

Thanks Ken :) I'm hoping the bloods I get done tomorrow will be able to show something. I will let you know if they tell me anything.

All the best x

I also bruise very easily! I have ME.

I wondered if it could just be a common symptom of ME.

It might be.

Hopefully that's all it is

There are plenty of conditions that have "easy bruising" as a symptom. I'm currently researching Ehler's Danlos Syndrome. Hope you get some answers today!!

Missed my bloods appointment had a very busy and tiring week.

My rheumatologist discharged Me and feels there is nothing to worry t with bruising. He has seemed disconcerned in general but maybe that's a good thing if he doesn't think it's that bad.

I feel the GP is passing Mr to the rhumie and the rhumie said my GP should take it from here. Sorry me* My friend did stilleto nails for me lol hard to type. I feel there should be better procedures in place for these kind of conditions. Guess I'll need to fend for myself as I've done all along having to ask to be put on certain meds and educate doctors on my illness.
