So chaps here I am needing advice again!
Problems: I am
bruising
loads. Started taking Vit C more regularly. Headaches lately Am worried that I could be heading for diabetes - often feel dizzy, blurry vision then and this feeling of feeling the blood run cold throughout my vascular system.

Sharp Painful areas on lower legs and arms when touched.
It caused a cut but more importantly the
bruising
and red blood under the skin over a large area and swelling caused me to wonder if there are any guidelines for us with MPN's if we injure ourselves . I wonder what happens to the platelets and the blood clotting. Any views would be welcome.

Aspirin and melatonin
ladies I’ve forgotten who posted about taking these drugs..from Jane Mclellands book...but I was just googling stuff and both of these have an anticoagulant effect and aspirin was listed as a drug interaction with melatonin I don’t take melatonin but thought it worth mentioning as the combo could cause

Painful shin
It's very painful and the outside of my leg is sore to the touch, even though there is no
bruising
or broken skin.

Feeling Fed Up
He thinks it might be related to the fall onto my knee back in October (where I did smack it really hard - lots of
bruising
).

Advice please re af
In hospital a week, Had effusions and oesophageal
bruising
. Put back into spasm and took months to recover. But did help rythmn a bit and kept tachy to max 120 pm mostly. Started magnesium and had a quiet spell for 6 months. Now I am back in af a lot. Running over 100 bpm much of the time.

3 months post!
My side effects (i.e. bad mood swings/anxiety, tremors, hot flashes, easily
bruising
) have yet to improve, so the docs are monitoring in hopes that med changes and decreases will help. So far not, but it's still early.

Umming and erring about physio
There’s no
bruising
or swelling but I have limited flexibility and no strength, particularly when using stairs. Question is do I go to the gp and wait for a month or so for NHS physio or is it worth going private?

NHS cracks showing..!
After two needles and two extra blood tubes I’m sure any saving had been more than wiped out and I have some good
bruising
to show for it too..! Clinic on Friday very busy with 98 patients and 4 doctors - waited my turn only to find the blood sample still hadn’t worked so no results to review.

No outward
bruising
but it hurts just under knee cap. Strange thing is it hurts more when I’m walking than it does when I’m slow jogging 🤔. Anyway more ice packs and a couple of more days rest should see it right. Happy Sunday all 🏃🏼♀️😊
