8 months post ablations update
Hi all ending the year I just wanted to post a brief summary how things have developed since my ablation in April 2021. I think my recovery has followed a similar pattern as described by many others on this site. I have phased out meds approx. 6 months after surgery. I did not have any episodes since

Why am I so slow and cannot concentrate on my life??
Hi all, hope all is well..... I have been partially diagnosed with chronic bronchitis or asthma (which is looking more like asthma now due to many symptoms) since: 05/05/2020 during the first UK Lockdown and for three days now I have been feeling slow therefore taking me twice as long to do anything

Today was not a good day
I just wasn't in a mood to study today, which is a real pity because I had really wanted to be productive today. Today was my favorite idol's birthday. And I really wanted to go all out for his birthday. I wanted to post on all my social media platforms, I even came up with the captions and everything

Anyone found sertraline to cause spaced out feeling and can recommend another anti depressant or an anti anxiety
Hi a friend of mine took first dose of sertraline and it made her feel very strange . Like she was not there. Has anyone felt this and moved on to a anti anxiety depression medication that was OK. Any methods to reduce anxiety also gladly received. She swims walks and does meditation and breathing exercises

Hello Friends, Im 25 y/o and have been a smoker for 6 years. I never had any problems until fall 2019 where i started to cough up white frothy (very bubbly) mucus. I stopped smoking, started doing breathing exercises.. but the phlegm didnt stop. Consistency varies from liquid frothy to thick transparent

Well, that will teach me!
So there I was thinking the lifestyle changes I’ve been making since my last AF episode in June are paying off, as I’ve not had an episode since and then….. bang, everything kicked off just after midnight today and here I am, over 16 hours later with it still going on😡 I’ve tried breathing exercises

How long should I expect sleeplessness to last on Fluoxetine?
Hi. I’m 10 days in on 20mg of Fluoxetine and can’t sleep. Last night I managed about half an hour. I’m trying mindfulness and breathing exercises to help but to no avail. My heart feels like it’s beating too fast and I have to work on regulating my breathing. My anxiety feels worse in the mornings but

New info on exercise and breathing issues for some with Autoimmune afflictions
This study relates to
exercise
and
breathing
and indicates a delayed recovery for folks with Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and also Fibromyalgia. But this could be the case with Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR), too.

Newly diagnosed with adult onset asthma - yawning a lot?
It came as a shock as I'm fit and well,
exercise
regularly and have no history of
breathing
problems either myself or in my family. I am now on two puffs morning and two puffs night of my preventer. So far I have not had to use my reliever.

New here & looking for advice :)
Hi everyone, I am new here and have been reading through some of the posts and feel so happy to have found this website and forum! Everyone is so helpful to each other, it's lovely. I was diagnosed with 'borderline' hypothyroid in 2014 but the Doctor at the time brushed it off as if it was nothing so

5-minute breathing workout lowers blood pressure as much as exercise, drugs
"A new study shows that a
breathing
exercise
known as Inspiratory Muscle Strength Training can reduce blood pressure in weeks, with benefits on par with daily exercise or medication."

COPD + central heating
Hi All, I have mild COPD, I don't tolerate any medication and to be honest I stopped doing any of the breathing exercises some time ago. In summer it gets really bad in hot weather, now as it gets a bit chilly and I have turned the central heating on, I can on tolerate letting the place warm up a bit
