After months of misery, with lansoprazole becoming ineffective even after doubling the dose, i think i might have sorted out my reflux. I knew that it was from high levels of stress all along and it seems to be the case that i was continually tightening my stomach muscles. Yesterday i followed some simple

Anxiety problems
I am struggling immensely with panic attacks and I feel like they are ruining my life. I feel like I have tried everything and nothing helps. I’m in therapy, on more meds than you could count. I’ve tried breathing exercises, meditation and nothing seems to help. I’m at a very critical point rn

Bad chest x-ray and no dx in sight
I’m a non-smoker, 56 year old female, and aside from
breathing
in a heavily polluted city, I
exercise
regularly have no unhealthy habits. Two years ago I had Covid and I coughed up blood once. It has never happened since. My chest x-ray results state: No pleural effusion, or pneumothorax.

We try natural things like
breathing
apps, lavender oil,

I would appreciate your thoughts on what is happening to me right now and the best way to get help or do I just plough through.
I get crazy high heart rates, when doing literally nothing, up to 120, which feels incredibly uncomfortable and I spend a lot of time doing very slow
breathing
to try and get it back down. On
exercise
I notice (walking the dog) it only goes up to 90-100 so it’s baffling.

we all have days like this
Today I’m trying deep breathing exercises to disperse hip pain (RA)and if it doesn’t work I can take pain relief later. The hip pain seems much worse than wrists or knees for some reason.

MRI of head - my (good) experience - weird images though
I went to a mobile scanner unit in an Asda car park in Leeds. The MRI machine was noisy - it sounded similar to intermittent drilling in the street, and at times constant drilling. I could feel the vibrations in my engagement and wedding rings. I felt comfortable - I laid down on my back with my

Lung infection.
I am having breathing exercises from physio at hospital. She listened to my left lung at bottom and said that I've got a lung infection cause she could hear crackling and to ask my gp for antibiotics. My gp knows I have allergies and it was noted that I can no longer have amoxicillin as I felt

PTT 1 year later. This will be my last PTT status report.
For those of you considering this procedure, there is a plethora of posts under my profile. I had FUS PTT March 11, 2020, on the right side of my brain & had the left side done April 20, 2021. I learned about the procedure on this HealthUnlocked forum. So much thanks to you Lena and Rebekah. Had it

Clearing your lungs after Covid
I started on doing breathing exercises to clear the phlegm from my lungs after covid. This is when my asthma started to trigger coupled with doing too much the day before. Its put me off a bit but I am determined to continue. It's day 4 after my asthma attack and day 4/5 taking my rescue steroids.

How is angina diagnosed ?
I get chest pain every day when I’m walking up to the school , I’m waiting to see my respiratory consultant regarding test results from a few different
breathing
tests and still waiting to have an
exercise
stress test because I have a pacemaker and have ongoing chest pain and breathlessness on exertion
