Has anyone tried diaphragm breathing exercises?

A clinical trial in Brazil showed that diaphragm breathing exercises can help improve muscle strength of your LES. Hence help reduce the back-flow of stomach acid. Has anyone tried this?

Ive brought powerbreathe training device this week and I will see how it goes.
