Why does my breathing NOT speed up when I exercise?
I am completely healthy physically, have no medical problems of any kind, and I eat healthy. I am also mentally healthy with no anxiety or depression, along with low stress levels. But when I exercise or do any task in which your heart rate increases (and mine increases as it should) and your breathing

Amiodarone and deep breathing
Has anyone experienced long term effects of Afib treatment with Amiodarone? I was hon it for six months and have heard horrible stories, but my PA keeps telling me it is doing its job. Another question: Comments please on deep breathing exercises?

Asthma Flare-Ups and Chest Infections
My oxygen stats never tend to dip very low but on a flare-up, I feel like there's something sat on my chest and even though I can take a full breath it feels like I am
breathing
through a narrow tube. Triggers can be dust, the weather,
exercise

What is the difference between bisoprolol and verapamil?
Also my
breathing
was less restricted because
exercise
was easier and not a struggle. Anyway he prescribed verapamil which I took after getting script in hospital pharmacy. The next morning I dosed with verapamil.

The
breathing
exercise
didn't work for me. What helped in my case is to lay backwards on the floor while resting the feet e.g. on a chair. Not sure why that is, but worked for me.

Vocal Cord Paralysis
For the last few years (probably at least 5) I have been back and forth to the doctors with concerns over my
breathing
. I really struggle with
breathing
when I
exercise
especially, to the point where I am wheezing and really really struggling to catch a breath. Also when I talk or walk upstairs.

I am Male 70 yrs. recently diagnosed with Angina and AF; other than

I have no symptoms at all, no chest pains or palpitations, my condition has been classified as ‘nothing worrisome’ which is great.

With Confidence
For about 10 years, I suffered from anxiety and depression that affected every aspect of my life. At its highest points, life seemed hopeless and I felt wholly hapless. It was a time when almost nobody spoke about anxiety; it was a hidden disease or, as I used to call it, a debilitating state of dis-ease

Getting stronger
Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks I have been home. I have had a fantastic follow up by a cardiac nurse, who gave me a right bollocking. Firstly for doing too much walking and for not taking the right amount of pain killers. I am now doing 2x15 min walks and started the full paracetamol and codeine dosage.

Not every breathing symptom is asthma!
Tentatively posting this because it’s perhaps controversial on an asthma forum - but it is also really important. It’s often assumed that any breathing symptom is asthma - those who have asthma assume it’s that because they have asthma therefore it must be that; those who don’t have asthma assume they

IBS C anxiety
I wake up in the morning almost dreading the day ahead for fear of how I’m going to be that day ... I’m getting more & more anxious about my the IBS & constipation as it’s definitely not improving , in fact it’s getting worse , which I’m not helping with , as the more stressed I get about it the more
