Struggling with xeloda
Moved from ibrance to Xeloda. I know it's only been 1 week I have been on it but feel sick most of the time and really tired all the time, I hope the cancer is hating as much as I do, I am on 3,000 mg a day which sounds a lot, I know I shouldn't moan as my friend died 4 weeks after diagnosis and at

New to Ibrance
Hi, I'm new to this site. Just started Ibrance and Letrozole. On my second week now. Get my first blood test and EKG on Monday. Hope my numbers are good. No real side affects yet. I bit of constipation which I'm trying to manage with diet. I had breast cancer 20yrs ago but went into remission, thought

I want to drop Everolimus and be only on Fulvestrant/Faslodex + Xgeva
Hi everyone, hope you’re staying safe. I was on Everolimus 10mg for a month and just finished my first month of 7.5mg dosage. Due to the side affect of painful face rashes I would like to stop taking Everolimus. Meanwhile, I am on Faslodex since February and Xgeva since December 2019. I would like

Verzenio now possibly to be given to women with earlier stages of breast cancer
I am now on Verzenio for stage iv. Twice a day (Ibrance did not work). I now read an article on survivor.net about them finding that it may work for women with early stage breast cancer to prevent a recurrence. I was not sure how to take this article since I was prescribed it for stage iv and

Bleeding and Pregnant
Hello Everyone, This week has been hell for me. I have finally worked up the strength to come on here and update everyone on my pregnancy progress. On Monday I had some red bleeding and mostly brown discharge at 5 weeks pregnant. I was so worried and assumed the worst. It’s been a week of real pain.

Xeloda and other chemo pills.
Has anyone added any of these chemo pills to the regiment? Xeloda, Temozolomide, Packitaxel. My dad’s doctor for his LMD suggested to take any of these pills. Based on my reading there are good results when its taken by patients with LMD and breast cancer. Was there any study for Lung cancer? Which of

Stage 4 metastasis
Hi I had breast cancer 7yrs ago. I thought I had beat it, unfortunately it just came back in my supraclavicular node. I am on Ibrance and the injection Fulvestrant. I was wondering if anyone else was diagnosed with this. I’m very scared and depressed, the doctor said it’s not curable. I will be on

Switching to verzenio - progression to liver
I’ve been on Ibrance since 2016 with bone metA only. Now being switched to verzenio along with faslodex due to liver mets. Was just wondering how anyone handled this treatment and how long did it work. Very nervous over the side effects and just having liver mets. Any insight or tricks for the side

Can Letrozole account for shimmers all over my body?
As a woman relatively new to MBS to the liver, I have a lot of questions. I will begin with this most pressing one. Could Letrozole account for shimmers/trembling/feeling of electricity surging throughout my body, mostly in my legs but perhaps in concert with my heart pumping? The answers I have got

Peacock Feather
I want to share something that happened to me six years ago today. I was reminded about it when, just now while it was raining, I was having a good sort out of my treasured possessions, one of which is a peacock feather. What? Relevance? Here goes. Six years ago today I had a pain in my left breast

Hurrah!!!!
So excited. Just got my CT AND MRI results back and all three mets are stable (liver, lungs and spine). Have been off my main chemo for three weeks so am absolutely thrilled. Oncologist still wants me to take a few more weeks off as side effects of Xeloda on my tummy we’re so bad. So it is just denosumab

Glad to be part of an understanding group
Hi there I feel that this path is so long. Began in 2004 with bilateral mastectomy and TAC chemo. Then in 2014 tumor markers high pet scan showed bone meets. Faslodex added to Arimidex and now Ibrance is replacing Arimidex. Sometimes I feel that instead of the side effects I'd rather live my life free
