Tried 100 mgs Ubiquinol yesterday before my regular Sunday 60 m ride.
And, unexpectedly, had the worst ride in a very long time!
I've tried ubiquinol in the past, with nil effect, good or bad.
Any ideas what caused this please?
I have also (recently) had similar bad results with other supplements recommended for muscles such as l- carnitine, d- ribose, creatine and beta alanine. And I've used them all in the past before, without any effect, good or bad.
Any ideas why please? As all these are suposed to help muscles, not make them worse?
Also, has anyone had any luck with beetroot juice?
The only one of those I have tried is beetroot juice, and the only thing it did was make me vomit. It is vile to drink, and did nothing for muscle pain, despite me persevering with it for a few weeks.
