Breast Asymmetry TABOO

I just wanted to start this thread for anyone suffering with this. Its not something thats commonly talked about but it should be! As someone who has suffered from severe breast asymmetry i know the impacts it can have on both mental and physical health. It can be difficult to talk about but i hope that anyone suffering feels confident to comment on this thread and start talking, since its anonymous it may be easier! I struggled with severe breast asymmetry for years and told myself it would get better (sometime is does) but it didnt and after many hospital appointments and consultations, i was lucky enough to receive a number of breast reconstructions involving implants and reconstruction to make my breast symmetrical! I hope i can help anyone and give advice as i fee like quiet the expert now!

I have one larger than the other. It’s not too noticeable under my clothes so I don’t really bother about it. Glad you managed to get help for yours as it sounds like it was severe and really affecting you.

It was really bad so it was hard to disguise but i was given a prosthesis as the hospital which is like a ‘chicken fillet’, you can see them online theyre like proper boobs you put in your bra. If its not too noticeable under clothes you can always use the removable padding you get in some swimming costumes or bikini and use that to build it up. I’ll still have to have surgery in future to maintain it as my body naturally changes with ages or pregnancy but its all good now! I just wanted to post a thread to urge people to talk about it and ask for advice so thanks for commenting!
