So glad I found this site
Diagnosed with BC when I was 46, bi lat mastectomy, chemo and tamoxifen. Mets to spine this year after 25 years cancer free. On letrozole and finished radiation. Trying to decide if I really want to take verzenio now or wait a while. The side effects look awful.. I suppose we all debate quality of life

Xeloda and tumor markers
Hi everyone, I am on Xeloda now for 6 months. The Pet CT showed some improvement in bones and liver but showed some obstruction in the ureter and thickness in the endometrium. I am going through additional tests now. In my blood test the tumor markers went up from 50th to 70th Another one from 5

Bleed at 8+2 - Update: Hematoma around gestational sac
Hi ladies, I’m 8+2 today. I had a scan on 7+3 which showed a lovely embryo measuring spot on and with strong and clear heartbeat. I had another scan yesterday (this time I allowed my husband to attend, I was too scared before) and again it was measuring well and looked line a mini human with head, arms

Are there any members of this group that currently have metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the abdomen/stomach area?"
I would like to get in touch with other survivors who are dealing with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the stomach/abdomen area--mesentery, omentum and peritoneum. My original diagnosis (1995) was invasive lobular carcinoma (mastectomy, chemotherapy, and tamoxifen), and I had a local recurrence

Erolimus and Exemestane Treatment after Palbociclib stops working.
I am reaching out reference feedback on the Exemestane and Everolimus ( EE) treatment for SBC . I have lesions in spine, pelvis, occipital and just recently an additional 2 small ones in my liver. My oncologist had taken me off Palbocyclib and Letrozole ( which had worked successfully for 2 years) and

Fluctuating CA 15-3 tumor marker
Dx DCIS stage 0. 2/1/21. Lumpectomy, no rads/ chemo. Oncotype test showed low % recurrence. Feel great. Oncologist wants PET/CT due to increase in markers. Mine seemed to go up and down. Also my alka phosphatase level up to 175. Read Anastrozole could be culprit. Extremely high anxiety til scan done

Pet Ct Findings
Hi everyone, I have been on Xeloda for 6 months and my PET CT showed improvement in liver and bones. But it showed the endometrium thickness 20mm and some problem with kidneys called hydrouretorenephrosis. I am going through so many tests now and am very nervous. I was also on Tamoxifen before Xeloda

Update
the rash was not shingles . It was just a bad reaction to preservatives in the faslodex injection which was generic. He’s going to go back and order the Faslodex by Astra Zeneca which I had for the first two years and never had a problem. Thank you for all your concern, he gave me absolutely no medication

Is discharge from breast something to be concerned about?
I do not have breast cancer, but I'm high risk due to family history and I had a lumpectomy last year due to ADH. I'm about to turn 60 and a few weeks ago, I started noticing a small amount of clear discharge from my left breast only. I only noticed because I felt the damp spot on the front of my PJ

Faslodex/Fulvestrant update
For those being offered or starting this protocol - here’s an update. I know when I joined this group - it meant a lot to get information and experiences. Faslodex is my second line treatment- after Ibrance, Femara & zoladex. I’ve been feeling well on Faslodex - still going about my daily routine and
