Prostate Cancer & Brugada Syndrome
Almost 3 years ago, while being prepped for surgery for a small
bowel
obstruction
, my ECG showed I was having a 'heart attack' that wasn't. Instead I was later diagnosed with Brugada Syndrome (BrS), a genetic defect of the Sodium channels in the heart that can trigger a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).

Colonoscopy at 19
Hi everyone. Iām 19. Iām getting a Colonoscopy tomorrow but Iām freaking out. Not exactly over the procedure itself but more so for the results. Iām scared of getting diagnosed with Colon Cancer. I know my demographic for it is very low. Honestly I wasnāt even the one who asked for the procedure. I guess

Colitis, Terminal iletis or Crohns?
The scan showed that I had s small infraumbilical hernia that contained a small loop of
bowel
but no
obstruction
. I also had chronic inflammation in my terminal iluem and caecum. They thought it could be inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's. They suggested a colonoscopy to rule it out.

Should I be worried about my abdomen?
For almost 2 weeks I have been experiencing pain around the abdomen (especially at night). My stomach also feels bloated most of the time with the exception of it feeling clear after going to the toilet. My bowel movement has also been unusual. Almost 2 months ago I had the same issue and I went to check

Freaking out
Sorry loads of posts like this and I donāt know what Iām looking to gain - maybe just venting! Have had lower abdominal pain intermittently for nearly 2 years with some mucous in my stool every now and then - bloods all normal as was calprotectin in stool - GP has only just sent off for a FIT test -

Overthinking colon cancer?
Hello there, Iām an 18 year old who is currently paranoid on if he has colon cancer. Since April of 2021, I have inferred that I have hemmoroids, do to the fact of an itchy and irritated anus from time to time after wiping, and as well as small red blood spots on the toilet paper. It wasnāt until September

Thin stools?! IBS or.....
Terrified I have Bowel Cancer... (28 Male). Been ill for exactly 2 weeks with a mix of constipation and diarrhea, as well as abdominal cramps, nausea and difficulty sleeping. Also not been able to eat much. Main concern is very narrow pencil-thin stools that I keep having (if not that then just mushy

Afraid of Colon Cancer
Hello everyone, I'm 19 years old and I'm concerned about colon cancer. As far as I recall, I had diarrhea for only a day in the first week of October and noticed that the color of my poop was green, so I ignored it because I assumed I ate something that upset my stomach, but I didn't have any stomach

Is this normal, or can it be cancer?
Iām a male 29 years old, with a pinching pain in my stool since over a year already. I didnāt do a colonoscopy yet, as my doctor told me back in January that this might be hemorrhoids as Iām too young for colon cancer and should not worry about it, even though told him that there is also bit of blood

The Holmes-Adie Syndrome in the Mona Lisa of Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519)
Another paper speculating on historical, and artistic, thyroid disease. Interesting, but always take such things with a big pinch of salt.

2 years post Colonoscopy
New to this group. I have a strong family history of colon cancer. My dadās youngest brother passed away at 50 from it. Many aunts and uncles and some cousins have to go regularly for colonoscopy/polyp removal. When I was 36 I was talking to a couple of my aunts about my stomach issues from āstress.ā
