Is this normal, or can it be cancer?

I’m a male 29 years old, with a pinching pain in my stool since over a year already. I didn’t do a colonoscopy yet, as my doctor told me back in January that this might be hemorrhoids as I’m too young for colon cancer and should not worry about it, even though told him that there is also bit of blood on paper. A couple of minutes I went to the bathroom and my stool looked very dark and you can clearly see blood? Or smth red. I will push for a colonoscopy ASAP, but is this normal in “hemorrhoids “?

P.S my father was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 3 at age of 57.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing pain and uncomfortable bowel movements. I would speak with your doctor again and explain in detail your symptoms, concerns and family health history. I would also ask for a digital rectal exam and a colonoscopy. Please keep us posted. Sending our best wishes from all of us at the Global CCA.
