Hello, This is slightly off topic but is of interest to many people nevertheless. My 16 years old vegetarian granddaughter cannot swallow tablets or capsules. This is quite a problem. She is very tall, very thin - British size 6 and has just started studying for her A levels. She has long days at

Vitamin B makes dyskinesia worse?
I recently started taking vitamin B complex. While I see improvements in my movements, I also found my dyskinesia is much worse. Does anyone have similar experience? Thanks, Laura

High Vitamin B Blood Levels - Should I Be Concerned?
I just got the results of some bloodwork that was done fasting, and without taking B vitamin supplements for over 24 hrs. The results are as follows, and I'm wondering if I should be concerned, especially for the B1. I have been doing the HDT routine for a while (2 yrs??? not sure) But I have settled

Big, big trouble Houston
I’m 60 now but a guy so I’m still prone to daft things like buying Microsoft Flight Simulator. I flew a 747 the other day and blimey did it let me know when I tried a questionable manoeuvre. Red lights, Commercial Airliner Crash Warning sirens etc. Well it’s sort of a metaphor for me currently. Some

Sharing for info but also a question around changes to formulation. I’ve recently had my T3 increased which meant moving to Thybon Henning 20s. Since I’m allergic to acacia, I set about trying to find out if it contained it. I spoke to 2 pharmacies (SmartWay and Roseseway Labs) as well as doing my

B vitamins
so I have finally got round to ditching my multi vitamins and I am currently ordering separate vitamins (everything I am low in). In regards to The Bs. I have decided after reading hashimotos protocol to buy b1 and b12 separately. The b12 i have is in a picture below. Do you think this would be ok

Carvedilol & Decompensated ARLD
Hubby saw his Hepatologist recently and she was very pleased that he has not had any alcohol for just over 13mths now. She has requested that his GP changes his medication? She has requested that he is taken off of: - Thiamine - Folic Acid - Rifaximin - Vitamin B String Compound - Furosemide

The Zoe programme and diabetes
Following on from the recent post about the Zoe programme. I saw my daughter yesterday and she can't eat sweet things because she has pre-diabetes. She's 60. My husband at the age of about 56 was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. His sugar level was very high. He dieted, lost about 4 stone in weight

High B6
Does anybody else have peripheral neuropathy that doesn't seem to be improving with B12 injections? My neuroimmunologist ordered blood tests and some of them I had never had before. One being B6. It came back quite high and he said that would be causing my numbness in legs and feet. I was told

Curious, pondering questions about alcohol, PA and B12
I was wondering if anyone might be honest enough to say whether they had a B12 deficiency from alcohol use? It's anonymous here and so no one will know if we share. For example, I have a family member who has been in recovery for many years. And when they went into rehab they were given B12 shots
