Eyes closed - Botox?
Hi, Could anyone tell me a little more about
Botox
treatment? Mom has her eyes closed now for most of the time even when trying to find a cup of tea on the table in front of her.... It is difficult to get her to open them and look around.... Thanks Tony

Eye problems
I know about
Botox
for the lids closing, but I haven't heard much about soreness. My left eye always waters as well. What are other people's experiences with eye problems?

I have just had my second lot of
Botox
and am waiting for it to kick in. In the meantime my Nueroligist have given me Relpax 80mg ( Eletriptan) and it is making me feel very spaced out, is this journal? Also my question is what are triptans? Are they a pain killer.

Seeking opinions/thoughts
I have just had my second lot of
Botox
and for the two days since having
botox
I have had a constant migraine. Is this normal, I have rang my neurologist but he hasn't rang me back. Would love to hear other people's experiences on
Botox
. I love this site as it makes me realise I am not alone.

Dealing with denial
Incontinence has started , regular choking (I got showered with coffee sitting opposite Dad yesterday as he choked bless him), eyes closing (
Botox
treatment becoming less effective) and 2 falls to date. My parents absolutely refuse to even utter the letters PSP. They are in complete denial.

I will try
Botox
if it's not to expensive. Some say don't use shampoo with sodium laurel. Only shampoo with sodium laureth. It hasn't helped me though. Will watch for news. Love and prayers to fellow sufferers

I have also been advised by my consultant to look into
Botox
but understand this would have to be done privately - has anyone tried with success ? No idea what this would cost. Have been unable work for 18 months so money tight but will do what I can go get well and back to work.

Overwhelmed
My Dad has developed new symptoms since the previous month I saw him.he now can't talk unless prompted to do so, he wolfs his food to such a degree it frightens me, he is starting incontinence,
Botox
for eyelids drooping is becoming less effective, constipation a real problem, and inappropriate laughter

Have A Question About Facial Tremors.
Have a
Botox
consultation coming up. But a new? or a new area? of tremors started one day this week w/o warning and never had happened before. I lost all control over my facial muscles; it's went on for 3 hour straight.

Have never felt so rough
Nurse said I was hypo, my
Botox
dr said I was hypo, but sometimes I have hyper symptoms. And have dysentry fora months, I get the palps. Two friends died in dec, my father died in April and I have complicated grief. Could this be making me worse.

Denial
I am at my wits end, his speech is practically gone, his eyes are closing he gets
botox
but it is becoming less effective. He is becoming a danger to himself when he is out because he tries to cross roads and may freeze on the middle of the road. Will not go to the crossings where it is safe.

Has anyone seen a Speech and Language Therapist for problems swallowing? Has it helped?
Also wondered if anyone has had
botox
for bladder problems. That has been mentioned by the urologist.
