Could someone explain what a peg is?
He has had 2 rounds of
Botox
injections to help with spasticity and hopefully pain but as time goes on this pain is becoming harder to control. There seems to be no consistency to when it occurs or how long it will last or the severity of it.

Were the injections steroids, pain blockers, muscle relaxants,
Botox
, or nerve blockers?

Anyone had or heard about botox injections into muscles
Hi, I saw a different specialist on Weds who suggested trying
botox
injections into muscles in my arms and legs to relieve contractions and spasms. Has anyone had this or heard about it? I live in France so things may be different here - I don't know.

Is anyone like me? Menstrual Migraine + Chronic Headache / Migraine related to Neck / Shoulders
I am considering
Botox
in the shoulders to try and get some form of relief. Does anybody suffer the same? It seems the two interact to me, but i am desperate to get a break from feeling terrible all the time. Appreciate any advice ;-)

Continence - some thoughts (part 3 - and FINAL!)
The patient version is especially useful, and covers many aspects including the use of
botox
, antimuscarinic drugs and other treatments, and questions to ask your doctor. Sorry this has been a bit long; I think I am done with writing about bladder and bowels for quite a long time!

Has anyone had success with Botox treatment for chronic headaches after viral meningitis?
We are with pediatric headache neurologist and
Botox
was just approved by our insurance company. We have tried 5 different medications and none have provided relief.

What have Space Mountain and bowel transplant got in common?
I went back to see a great gastro doctor, who I call Dr
Botox
this week, to see what the next thinks the next steps should be. Another
botox
injectionis on the cards for March and in the meantime I am going to have another gastric emptying study.

Fluttering Eyelids...cripes.
So...if the
Botox
paralyzes the eyelids, seems to me that would result in more staring and even less blinking....I have to use artifical tears to keep my eyes hydrated as it is, plus have permanent tear duct plugs in both eyes. So, I'll flutter away and put the
Botox
on a shelf:)

I am also having a follow up with the doctor who deals with the
botox
in my stomach. The sickness hasn’t gone and although it has improved I am still sick up to 4 times a week for no real reason. Perhaps I needed to ask for a tummy tuck at the same time as another injection.

Neck Problems
Botox
injections into the back of the neck muscles, thus reducing the contracting of the neck muscles. 2. Muscle relaxants. Again relaxing the neck muscles. 3. Possibly a neck brace or soft collar to support the back of the head and neck.
