Do I get any protection from the daily dose of Azithromycin 250. I have problem wearing mask as result of broken

Otelza Drug for Plaque Psoriasis
Hi all, just a quick question. Not PMR but for another AI disease. Has anyone come across or have experience of using Otelza (Apremilast, Aplex)? An earlier post got me thinking as my daughter has just been diagnosed (maybe) with Palmoplantar Pustulosis Psoriasis. I thought she might be put on Methotrexate

Running and Long Covid
When we went into the first lockdown, I was already ill in bed with Covid. It totally knocked me for six. I was ill for a month. Okay for a few days. Ill for a couple of weeks. Okay for a week. And then it really began. It developed into pneumonia that took some shifting. When I finally got out of bed

Besremi and vaccines
Hi, I need to get a Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough) vaccine as my daughter just had a baby. To date, I've had no issues with many COVID vaccines, the flu or shingles, but EPGuy mentioned a concern with Besremi and the flu vaccine and his reaction. Anyone had any issues with vaccines

I was put in an induced coma because of the swine flu. I was that poorly, I still have flash backs now, and the dreams I had are surreal.

no. of straws of sperm?
hello, I’m about to try icsi and I’m using donated sperm from EsB or cryos. I appreciate it might be like asking how long is a piece of string but how many straws should I purchase ? Happy to hear your thoughts. Best wishes

PV and shingles
Hi. I am on Hydroxyurea unfortunately, since a year ago, one capsule, although I certainly need a second one with my platelets nearing 750. It lowers my immune system, years ago it did the same and I stopped it then. After a terrible cold with persistent cough this winter, that lasted one month, now

Kennel cough vaccine dilemma
My wife recently took my dog to the vets for his annual booster and kennel cough vaccine. As I am immunocompromised I am aware that there is a very small risk to myself as the kennel cough vaccine is live. I also understood (maybe incorrectly) that if my dog did not have the vaccine and were to subsequently

Holiday Vaccinations
Morning all Looking for some advice on holiday vaccinations for Caribbean. I've seen the recommended list is yellow fever and rabies etc. Just wondering if these vaccines will be "ok" for P M R sufferers. I'm currently on a very low dose 1.5 and hope to be pred free by the time I go (next march) just

7 Covid vaccinations
Hello, I just can’t get over it that some of you had 7 COVID vaccinations! I know only about the first 2 and then 2 (maybe 3) boosters = 5 vaccines. Where are the other 2 are coming from? Or is this only in the UK? Just wondering because even my oncologist seemed to be surprised he only told me there

Illness, PSP & CBD
Does anyone have any advice on PSP & CBD sufferers and the effect of another illness? Mums currently got shingles and she seems to have got worse in her mobility in the last few days since being poorly. I’m hoping this is because she’s got less energy due to her shingles. This week has been tough

hi, I hope everyone is ok ❤️🙏🏼 Sorry if this is a ramble, but I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my posts of despair following my last 2 failed egg retrievals. 2 egg retrievals, 19 eggs, and just 1 fertilised, including one ICSI round with total fertilisation failure. The consultant

Very low AMH at 41
I am in a bit of a state right now as I was told that my AMH is 0.3 yesterday. I know a lot of ladies have success with low AMH but is there anyone who had a baby with own egg with such a low level AMH? Age isn't on my side either as I turned 41 this month. We are lucky to have a daughter I conceived
