Testosterone levels
Hi. Is a testosterone level of 11.2 in a blood test a concern. My gp says no but symptoms are fatigue, muscle loss, low sex drive, brain fog and anxiety. They said no to trt but interested if this is low level or if the nhs won't fund the treatment unless they have to. Thanks

Shocked by GP
I am aware that I had annual
blood
tests
to keep an eye on other things but I was never contacted about my kidneys. Surely if my annual tests were coming back abnormal then meds would be changed accordingly?

Hi, im hoping someine can relate.I was diagnosed with Endometriosis about 11 years ago and have had my left tube and ovary removed on my 3rd laparoscopy. GP was dismissive of
blood
tests
for ferritin says it can go up or down for many reasons. š¤·āāļø. Didnāt think it important in my profile tho I said itās one of the four important factors for good thyroid function as Iāve learned here! Led me to wonder why test it if thatās the case?!

Pred dose, what should I do?
The rheumatologist did say that having looked back at years of
blood
tests
, the differential diagnosis may be sero negative arthritis linked to Crohns disease which I've had for 52 years ( no current symptoms). Any suggestions very gratefully recieved. Thanks.

Cycle #5 tested negative 8dp5dt. Is it over for me?
Tomorrow is mother's day in the UK so I wanted to test today. I'm cooking Sunday lunch for my extended family tomorrow and I just thought either wait until Monday or test today. It ended up being today and it was negative with the second pee of the day. I'm absolutely gutted and trying to hold it together

Down regulation - blood test?
Hi All, I am nearly at the end of the down regulation phase and will have my first scan next Tuesday to confirm if my ovaries have switched off. The reason why I had to go through the down regulation route is that my first IVF, which was a short protocol, failed miserably. I was bleeding and lost all

Potential ET diagnosis
HI All, Iāve been on this forum a few months now but this is my first post. After a routine blood test last October I found out my platelets were just over 500, then after a subsequent jak2 test I can confirm I have it at a percentage of 2%. Iāve now just had a bone marrow biopsy to hopefully get more

Auditory hallucinations triggered by raising Levothyroxine dose.
My 92 yr old mother has had mildly low thyroid levels diagnosed from
blood
tests
. She was put on 25mg daily which sheās been on for some months now. The most recent blood test indicated she needed to raise the dose so was given 50mg daily.

Stem Cell transplant register search goes onā¦
Unfortunately my next appointment with Consultant has been delayed until early April as they are no further advanced in their search for matches on transplant register. The Nuclear medicine tests that I have just had will be added to MyChart which Addenbrookes uses to show appointments, test results

thyroid levels fine but still have symptoms.
Iām just wondering if anyone was diagnosed with an under active thyroid after having
blood
tests
that showed thyroid function lower than normal and antibodies were very high and started on levothyroxine and how itās worked for them? I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid in 2022.

Low B12
My private blood test shows low B12 at 48.1 pmol/l. Is this something my GP should follow up with? I take daily B12 supplements but obviously this isnāt sufficient. Many thanks.

How Off Would Blood Levels Be If Tested Without Fasting Beforehand?
Hiya. I would appreciate thoughts on this. This morning I had to go for an Inflammatory Marker Blood test for something which isn't related to thyroid issues. Unknown to me, my GP had requested a thyroid blood test anyway so I wasn't prepared by fasting from my meds the day before, and I took a multivitamin

A medical professionals responsibility
Last year before Christmas I had a routine blood test that showed a reduced platelet count. Went from 160 18 months ago to 139. I had been going though a period of very heavy drinking (day and night) in the two months prior to the test. I went to see the Doctor as he called and asked me to come in that
