blocked artery or blood vessel? Symptoms

hi all, i'm currently in my head about my symptoms and just wanting to know if anyone can relate to my symptoms or if theyre not relatable at all etc..

Im booked in for surgery in 5 weeks for another condition (endometriosis) but im nervous that it may not be that and may be a blockage somewhere?

My symptoms started March 2023 i started to get a tightening in my throat, and pain in my upper left abdomen which would start after eating. (I also have pancreatic insufficiency cause unknown). I originally thought it was my pancreas, but kept turning up at A&E and being sent home.

That went on for 8 weeks and all i could do was starve myself to avoid symptoms, this landed me in hospital for 9 weeks on a feeding tube.

Whilst i was there i showed every dr i seen a large vein that appeared on my abdomen the same side as all this pain but it was dismissed like it was nothing.

The other symptoms i noticed where dizziness, feeling faint, this wierd rush sensation through my body and legs, tingling left hand, breathlessness, some chest discomfort. But the hospital just kept telling me its how my body is percieving the pain im in.

The pain comes after eating but also any movement, cant lean forward or lie on my sides etc..

My Gynae consultant believes the vain may be from the endometriosis or bowel pushing against it. Which would make sense to me as my previous surgery removed scar tissue covering my left side of bowel so it could be an adhesion causing the pain.

The pain is constant i have to stay in bed most of the day, walking around is too painful & i become very light headed etc... and i do know its likely that it is endometriosis but im so worried that i'll go through with another surgery costing so much money and im looking in the wrong place.

And im honestly petrified of dropping dead, this whole experience is traumatising the life out of me.

Does anyone also maybe know of what test i can have done to see if this is a blockage? Or atleast the most affordable test to put my mind at rest b4 surgery.

I previously had a CT scan abdomen, colonoscopy, gastroscopy and all clear.

I had many blood tests in hospital which kept coming back as fine,

But good old google showed a certain blood vessel blockage with symptoms of severe abdominal pain after eating & obviously as i have a large vain running across stomach its making me panic. I will attach the pic, but its actually not hard or raised to a point you can feel it i genuinely can not feel the vain when i touch my stomach.

thank you in advance, any info would be really appreciated.

Hello :-)

I am sorry to hear what you are going through but you have posted this in the British heart Foundation Community where we focus on heart conditions and I wondered if you have posted in the wrong place which is easily done

I noticed you have posted in healthunlocked.com/endometr... previously who hopefully will be able to answer your questions and ease your concerns

Good Luck and I hope everything goes well :-) x

Hi thank you, it wasnt meant for endometriosis, it was to see if ny symptoms relate to someone who may have had a blocked artery or blood vessel in the abdomen,? Or if my symptoms relate to peripheral artery diseaseetc.. as i am bookex for keyhole surgery to see if my symptoms are because of my endometriosis but theres a fear in me its not that and more likely a blockage of some sort x

Hello :-)

Sorry if I have misunderstood I have never come across this before but some members may have

It seems you have had lots of tests done and I would hope if anything was wrong with your heart they would have picked it up

I hope someone might come along and be able to help you with your questions :-) x
