Mum's battle
We initially thought It was a pinched nerve but the pain was so bad she was eventually hospitalised and then released on pain killers after all of the
blood
tests
and scans were fine. She had no mobility in her neck turning side to side but could move her neck down to her chest.

Prep & Recomendations re T3-friendly Consultant
Please can you advise re what preparation I need to do, such as
blood
tests
? Also, would you please message me with recommendations of consultants who are T3-friendly? I live in Suffolk, UK. I realise I will have to travel out of this area, unfortunately.

Blood
tests
were ok as were ECGs but Dr in A&E wasn't prepared to send me home. Packed off to AAU (acute assessment unit) where the medical drs and consultant backed the a&e doc and pushed for cardiology to admit me. Been here since friday and my angiogram will now be done as an inpatient.

John has had recent
blood
tests
, that look to me low thyroid even though of course there was no T3 reading. Has anyone got suggestions on how to take, and the best products as I understand it also comes in powder form.

Fasciculations in both legs
GP carried out a multitude of
blood
tests
. Of course my TSH is suppressed at 0.04, free T3 is 4.3 range 3.9 - 6.8. Last dose T3 taken 3 o’clock day before bloods at 08.40.

Baseline test recommendations?
EDIT - latest
blood
tests
added to the bottom. Hi, starting my journey towards trialling some T3 due to extreme fatigue, weight gain and other symptoms. I’ve been on levothyroxine for 10 years (age 36-46), since fertility treatment picked up that I’d actually been underactive for a long time.

Tests required after more troubles with thyroxine
Hello, I’m after a bit of advice re
blood
tests
. Long story short, in 2019 it appeared that thyroxine was actually making me gain weight (a stone and a half in a short space of time) while diet and exercise remained the same.

My update
Last week
blood
tests
showed my glucose and cholesterol had reduced and I am no longer pre-diabetic. However, after seven months of dieting and nine weeks of discussions with my dietitian I can say that I’ve lost the vast amount of 7 lbs!

Is anyone trying the Zoe Personalised Nutrition programme?
Recent
blood
tests
have given me a clean bill of health including very much not remotely diabetic. So far so good. I am much improved from earlier days of PMR and now have my positive mood back.

Confused about latest blood tests - why are FT4 and FT3 rising, but I still feel awful and I'm undiagnosed and not on any meds?
In the end, he agreed, and gave me a prescription for 50mg NDT, plus follow up
blood
tests
at 4 weeks to see how it's going, and
blood
tests
again another 4 weeks later. Initially, I was happy to finally be able to try something and see if it helps.

Now I'm really confused – surprising test results
They did
blood
tests
yesterday and contacted me today to say that I should reduce my Levothyroxine immediately (from 50 one day, 75 the next to 50 each day). I also take liothyronine, which they never comment on, but which I reduced 3 months ago from 25mcg a day to 18.75mcg a day.

confused as to why my fsh is low.
My most recent
blood
tests
I had done put my fsh at 1.6 but everything I’ve read online says it should be far higher. Reading the charts apparently your fsh levels are only that low before you start puberty. I’m also hypothyroid so would that have anything to do with such a low fsh? Thanks 😊

My daughter has a swelling on her neck, can someone advise?
I'm assuming if the gp rules other stuff out they will arrange for
blood
tests
. What do I need to ask, be aware of etc? Thanks.

Potential AF? Bisoprolol for management?
These episodes would last between 5-10 minutes, and after attending a&e and having an ambulance out a couple of times, attending the GP multiple times,
blood
tests
and a 24hr ecg fitting they put me on bisoprolol.
