Palpitations/too much Adrenalin?
I started on a very slow taper from 7.5mg pred. daily to 7mg daily about 2 months ago. At around that time I started getting mild heart palpitations lasting just a few seconds. 2 months later and they were still happening so I took myself to the doctors this week-ECG and blood tests all normal. A little update
Hi all, I just thought I'd give a little update as I've not posted here in about a year and just possibly my experience may be of interest. I am not in ANY way invalidating anyone else's condition or treatment, this is just my story. For years I have struggled with low mood, lacking 'oomph' in life.

How to tell if Rituximab is working?
Are you able to tell if Rituximab is working from changes that show in your blood tests? What specifically would improve or should everything improve?

43 and game over
I’ve just had my first fertility appointment after waiting 8 months. I have had 5 miscarriages (3 being chemicals). I had blood tests done for fertility last year and was told on two separate occasions they were both normal. However have been told by a different doctor yesterday this indicates peri menopause

Ibrance side effects
I am on Ibrance 125 mg and letrozole and I have bloody nose constantly and bleeding gums. I have a cold and slight cough. Not bacterial because I had recent chest x-ray and blood tests. I have mets to lungs. But no infection on my lungs. I see my oncologist next week. I am thinking a dose reduction

Cholesterol and CLL
Hoping for some information from the wise ones here - back in January my GP said she wanted to start me on a statin as my cholesterol was high. I said I preferred to try to bring it down myself rather than with medication (and my intent here is not to start a debate on statins - I just prefer a natural

Now I have something else to deal with
GP took some nail clippings when she came round for a home visit and they have come back that I have Candida yeast infection. Just put my nail condition down to Reynauds and my nails have looked off since the winter and currently look like this on my right hand https://prnt.sc/I0agA1OMN1Z9.

Fibrosis?
Hi there. Continuing my journey to recovery, I was today told by my doctor that I need to have a blood test to see if I have any scarring of the liver. My LFT’s are better than they were in June last year. An ultrasound in August 23 noticed a fatty liver. So, can you still get scarring of the liver

Iron levels.
Hi . I've had 12 transfusions after internal bleeding and surgery in April. My hb was at 6 before the transfusion. My levels are as below. Is this sufficient or would I still need a supplement. I am weaned off pramipexole now but while is hospital I was given tramacet and that was helping my legs.

Advice on Blood results please?
Hi, I'm not diagnosed with any thyroid problems but have had numerous blood tests over the last 4 years because of severe menopause symptoms that have not responded to HRT. Would you be able to have a look and see what you think please? I have also included some of the vitamins tested.

psa increasing scans stable
Does anyone else have PSA increasing but scans are stable- if so when do you think it's time To switch meds if your scans are every three months and stable and your feeling fine - and all other bloodwork is fine? Do you stay the course and go by scans and symptoms? Also I'm 81 and on xtandi and lurpon

Any treatment after Lu-177 (Pluvicto)?
I have metastatic prostate cancer and have taken two Pluvicto infusions, but my PSA has gone UP from 2,000 to 3,000. I understand this is the end of the line...unless anyone online has information on where to go from here. Frank.
