Could increasing Levothyroxine push me into hyperthyroidism
Hello, my TSH level is 2.35, up from 1.49 two years ago. I asked my GP for an increase in Levothyroxine as I felt better when my TSH level was lower. He said I was in the range and if he increased the medication from 100 to 125 he risked pushing me into hyper. Is this correct? I assumed the blood test

High ANA (antinuclear antibodies)
Hello, I am new in this group, but have been searching for answers for years about chronic fatigue. Over a decade ago, I thought I'd found the answer as I was diagnosed with a B12 deficiency, which is now supplemented with regular injections. For a few years this helped, but the last few years again

Maybe not PMR update 5 years on
Good morning after 5 years next month on steroids with a PMR diagnosis I am headed down a different treatment path. I spoke to a musculoskeletal specialist in UK who questioned if I had ever had PMR due to my original diagnosis blood test showing a CRP result of 6 and an ESR of 1, whilst acknowledging

Has anyone felt worse when first adding T3?
Hello All, I've recently added 5mcg T3. 6 weeks later I felt awful (exhausted, brain fog) and blood test confirmed my T4 had lowered so I increased my levo from 137.5 to 150 and kept the T3 at 5mcg. At the same time, I increased my estrogen, which I now know was a mistake to do at same time because

Asking For Blood Test?
I haven’t had a blood test for over a year so I want to email my doctor to request one. What should I ask for (maybe include iron) ie the correct description of the tests. I have hypothyroidism and undiagnosed PA, I SI EOD and my doctor knows this and has no problems with it. I am in an ongoing positive

Raised liver function on niraparib
Good morning all,This is my first post although I have found the site very helpful during my journey, and thank everyone for sharing their experiences. It's very helpful to know yo are not alone. I have recently started niraparib after surgery and chemo, initially side effects minor, slightly raised

every test under the sun but no apparent cause for elevated liver numbers
Hi. I’m posting for a friend in case anyone here has experienced something similar. She’s in her early 30s and healthy. her liver panel shows elevated numbers but she has no fatty liver, negative for any hep c/b, has done all liver related autoimmune tests and all are negative. Has been to a few centers

Orgyvx + alternative treatment
On Dec 1 I took two Orgyvx and dropped my PSA from 70 to 27.8 on Dec 15. I took one more Orgyvx Dec 15 and it dropped to 14.8 on Jan15. At this level I believe the alternative, clioquinol + zinc + ivermectine, will kill more cancer cells than my body produces new ones. On Feb 13, I meet my oncologist

SCT update
I’m now on day +284 & so far seem to be progressing well. I know things may change, but hopefully I’ll continue to progress. I’m managing to walk most days, weather permitting, although I do get tired in the evening. My tablets are now being decreased & my hair is growing back grey & curly - not happy

why does T3 make me feel worse?
This is what I just googled in desperation after trialing 2.5mcg of T3 again after many months of T4 only due to T3 failed attempts. It’s not in my head, it’s a very specific feeling a few hours after taking it and that feeling is severely hypothyroid. I can hardly think or operate my brain. Google

Low B12 and ferritin questions
Over the past year I have had frequent respiratory infections and when not ill, I am always exhausted. I often need to stay in bed on my days off recovering. Alongside the exhaustion and frequent infections I have dealt with nausea and gastric problems which I always thought were due to IBS. I faint

Hi everyone I have had hypothyroidism for a number of years and have been on 150mg of thyroxine. In the last month I have lost over a stone and my recent blood test showed my TSH was 0.07 and Free T3 & T4 normal. The doctor has told me to take 150mg 6 days a week and 100mg on one day a week. This doesn
