Blood cancer - myleodysplasia
Does anyone else have myleodysplasia, and do you get any symptoms. My red blood cells are larger than normal and was told by Neuro Surgeon to have six monthly blood tests to ensure white blood cells did not become infected. I have no symptoms myself but wondered how many others have this condition.Sallywag

Curious what you think?
Her MO who treats her
blood
cancer
seemed like a good doctor but I know nothing about
blood
cancer
. So I went to her with my records for a consult with the idea it would be easier and less hassle if we could get appointments, blood work, etc. all done at one place at the same time.

Jet2 Holidays Blood Cancer Form
I have and been told it's standard for anyone with
blood
cancer
flying with them. I've formally complained but I've not had a response. I'm thinking of going to BBC radio 4 programme to see if they are interested in the story.

And breathe …..
(My husband says I’ve got a long way to go to being normal 😁) I told the doctor about the
Blood
Cancer
UK trials and have emailed him the information I was sent. I was very worried about the blasts increasing as I have high risk mutations, anyway so far so good.

stopping Abiratrerone
I also have a
blood
cancer
and take hydroxicarbamide. My side effects have been getting worse with pain in several bone areas, headaches, terrible brain fog and generally feeling awful. Of course no libido! QoL is non existant.

Will a COVID (or flu) vaccination affect my blood results?
If the vaccination affects blood results - how many days after the vaccination should I wait before doing a "regular
blood
cancer
blood
test"? 7 days? 14? 30? That's assuming I'm flexible with setting up appointments and I'm not skipping any tests/consultations.

MRI scan results
Therefore was just wondering any possibility that this could be linked to my MPN ET & also because I have
blood
cancer
could this be classed as secondary? Thank you for any responses, as you can imagine, a very worrying time until I find out these results.

MPN Essential thrombocythemia. Does anyone else have this condition as I haven't been given a PALS or anyone to talk to. In England I here I would have had one, or been able to speak to someone. Any help to speak to someone would be great. This site has been a god send.

Cancer Cell Blood Test
My oncologist has suggested I get the
cancer
cell
blood
test done. Has anyone had this test? What were the results? I have had severe side effects on all chemo and cancer drugs and my Oncologist has recommended it.

NOT HAPPY
This makes no sense to me, especially since this is a rare
blood
cancer
and just how much does a Nurse Practitioner know about this cancer? I’m definitely scheduling with an MPN specialist. The closest one to me is about 3 hours away, but I gotta do what I gotta do and that’s look out for me.
