SBRT treatment
I am about to have SBRT on my T10 vertebrae for metastatic prostate cancer. I will have 3 intensive treatments, far better than the 25 sessions I had in 2017 on my prostate, with a full bladder! I have 4 main questions, firstly how have others coped with having arms above shoulders for about 30 minutes

My Anxiety Is High Because Of This Friday.
This Friday I go for An Endoscopy And An Colonoscopy. Just don’t see how I’m going to be able to drink This Cranberry Prep. The Golytely is better because in the past I got to mix it with The Orange Juice. The nurse was trying to tell me that The Golytely is on back order. I don’t believe it.

Hello Good people I did PSA after 1month is increased from 0.29 to 0.39 directly i informed my Dr. in Germany he told me to check up PSA every month. So he recommended if i reach PSA 1.0 =The development suggest that the medication alone is slowly missing part of it's efficiency. Check PSA in monthly

Solifenacin - any better than alternative bladder meds?
My 11yr old son (starting secondary in Sept) is still wet in the day and night. He has been diagnosed with an irritable bladder, and has been on medication for the last two years to try and help but none of them seem to be working. Oxybutynin improved his symptoms slightly (fewer big accidents, but

Any advice on recurring UTIs?
Hi folks, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this. I have several health issues but my question is regarding problems with recurring UTIs. Due to nerve damage/urinary retention, I have been doing intermittent self catheterisation for years (although perhaps not as diligently as I should have

Writing for a friend. He was diagnosed with moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma in the prostecic bed that is close to the rectal tumor
A friend of 45 years called me to say after having had his rectum removed 2 1/2 years ago there is a recurrence of cancer. I thought when we spoke he had rectal cancer. I was surprised when he said 'moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma in the prostecic ?? bed that is close to the rectal tumor

Is there something we can do?
I feel that this forum mostly consists of people acknowledging each other’s struggles but more often than not without any real answers or solutions (because we just don’t have them) and in a similar way to how reddit got together to change Wall Street with investments, or BLM protested and got the worlds

Re: Hair colour dye for sensitive skin to cover grey hair regrowth after Chemotherapy?
Hello ladies, I've finished chemo 4 months ago and my hair has now grown back to about just over an inch long. I'm very pleased that it's grown back again, although it's grown back mostly silver-grey now whereas it was 75% dark brown before the chemo. I wondered if any of you ladies who's hair has

4 year old wetting - any suggestions?
My 4 year old daughter has been potty trained for over 2 years, but she still regularly 'leaks' urine. By regularly I mean multiple times a day. She never has a proper accident, just wet patches on her clothes. I'm convinced that it is not behavioural - she's a very bright, happy and otherwise totally

Right upper abdomen lingering pain
Towards the end of last week following eating fatty foods and drinking prosecco I had what I think was my first gall bladder flare up. It settled and the same thing happened a couple of days later. My Dr has made me an appointment to check the liver function and an ultra sound too. She agreed that it

Transurethral Urinary Bladder Resection #2...coming up!
Well, mates...I made it for three years with the bladder neoplasia in check, and undergoing BCG vaccine every few months. Remember I could now go on the lung transplant list having been cancer free for three years. Well Thursday’s cystoscopy put an end to that (although my oncologist argues this type
