My case is moving along about to start treatments any suggestions

Here’s an update,CT scan of pelvis ,abdomen and chest came back negative so that was a good sign but PSA is still elevated at 25.at 7 1/2 weeks after RP it has gone down from the 4 weeks after RP which it was 36. So I went today for an Axumin PET scan today, I’m waiting on results from it ! Was going to start Leuprolide (Eligard) shot today but insurance was still pending ,they should be calling me real soon to reschedule. I’m sure TAll Allen has it pegged ADT with whole salvage pelvic radiation is coming. BTW T level is 245 as I haven’t had any treatments yet! Since insurance paid for PET I went ahead and did scan ,should I try and save my money up and pay for a PSMA scan or just see how Axumin PET turns out!

I gather your PSA is .25 and not 25 that you wrote. At this level PSMA can have a positive detection probability of the order of 50%. Axumin will probably show nothing, but since you already had it and there is a waiting period for the PSMA, you will have this sorted out in advance.

Hi. I’m in Tulsa. Have you considered getting a treatment plan at the OU Stephenson Cancer Center? Might look into it.

Is it really 36 > 25? Or 3.6 > 2.5? Massive difference.
