Treatment options for local PC that is resistant to radiation
I received radiation treatment to my pelvic area this past spring for castrate-resistant lesions in my prostate and two lymph nodes. A month after completing radiation, my PSA dropped from .22 to .09, but a CT scan showed only a small decrease in size of the lesions. Six weeks later, my PSA increased

What pox do you choose?
I choose the monkeypox, with which we will get to know very briefly for general culture. I ask people who don't like to read about diseases to refrain or read at their own risk. The idea is only one - knowledge is power! Monkeypox and blood cancer - read more here: https://bloodcancer.org.uk/news

Desogestrel & symptoms
Hi everyone, I was wondering what were people's experiences with desogestrel? I am not diagnosed yet as my MRI came back as 'normal' which is very frustrating as I am stuck now. I started desogestrel around a month and a half ago and have been bleeding most of the time, the pain is less frequent but

Urinary Tract Infection
I think I am starting a UTI - usual symptoms - burning, cloudy urine etc. Only just started. Is this more common with PMR? I am taking large doses of vitamin C and I have some D-Mannose. Any other recommendations? I wonder if this is the reason for a flare of PMR symptoms as well - have been stiff

Sarcoma or PCa recurrence place your bets!
10 years ago i was treated for a liposarcoma. It was classified as a “dedifferentiated liposarcoma, high grade”. Luckily it was in a very treatable place, was small, and they were able to remove it and like 2 inches of margin in every direction. They followed up with radiation for good measure. 3

hello, partner due at the royal free next week and as part of evaluation has been booked for a right heart catheter. Has anyone had one, is it awful? How quickly did you recover. He was expecting to have to have one so its not a terrible shock

Hello! Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Boyd Viers at Mayo? He has had my husband doing 6 weeks of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. 6 weeks after that he will insert dye into the urethra and the suprapubic catheter to see if the stricture has healed enough for him to perform a reconstruction. If it

Why not start therapy the moment you know you have PC?
I've often wondering why know hormone therapy was given until I blew my PSA out of the water 14 weeks after the Radical Prostatectomy. 1) I found out I had cancer in later Feb 2020 2) I met with a urologist/surgeon on March 13, he recommended Robotic 3) I meet with the Robotic Surgeon on March
