Supplement for strength and energy
My husband (79yo) has been declining more & more over the past several years. He had RALP 2014; RT 2016. Since 2028 radiation cystitis with gross hematuria has not given him a break. He's now getting HBOT treatments (40), finally. But has no strength or energy. Are there supplement drinks and/or

Incontinence
Wondering whether anyone else with fibromyalgia issues, has problems with incontinence?I have signals during the day to get to the loo successfully, but after a night in bed, I am bursting and rarely reach the loo safely! It's upsetting and extremely embarrassing! I practice my pelvic floor exercises

Docetaxel and gemzar together. Too much?
My soon-to-be 77-year-old husband is on a double regimen of chemotherapy. Before starting chemo for advanced prostate cancer, he underwent a PSMA Pet Scan. The scan showed a small node on his left kidney duct. It was decided to give him two infusions, docetaxel for prostate cancer, and gemzar to

Double desogestrel pill
Has anyone else been told to take two pills a day? My gynaecologist told me to try it over a month ago to try and reduce bleeding and pain. My pain has reduced but the bleeding hasn't. Has anyone else had this experience?

I seriously don’t know how to get rid of this pain, it’s pushing down on my bladder, which is sending it into spasms. Any advice would really appreciate. I hope you are all having a better night , healing hugs 🤗.

Paying for Horizant
Arbor Pharmaceuticals, the maker of Horizant, has a patient assistance program. If you're in the US you could be paying $55 a month (plus shipping) by applying to them directly. You can be on Medicare and still get this benefit. None of the cost is reimbursable by Medicare or any other insurance program

Living with PD and enlarged prostate.
I wonder if other PWP and Prostate problems have been advised how risky it is for us to have a TURP ( the operation to reduce the size of the prostate)?

Prazosin vs. Doxazosin for Prostate Cancer Inhibition
There is pretty good preclinical as well as some clinical evidence in Prostate cancer patients that two of the Alpha1 receptor blockers, give improved outcomes in terms of prostate cancer recurrence, progression and even metastasis. The two specific drugs with the strongest evidence are Prazosin and

Omega 3 and Salmon consumption
I eat Salmon once or twice a week. Considering what I've read here, is that something to avoid?. I am 26 months post EBRT. I obtained a rx for androgel for QOL. My latest psa was up to 0.1 after being undetectable. I have discontinued androgel since. Any advice will be much appreciated. Chasu

Got the Second Opinion
And I am SO glad I did! In a prior post, I had told about events leading up to a cardiologist getting snippy with me because I questioned the need for an ablation. The more research I did the more convinced I became that my gut feeling was right and I set up an appt. with a different doctor. Monday

Prostate removal after radiation??
Since diagnosis (2016) I've had chemo (taxotere), 25 radiation sessions on my prostate, along with regular shots of ADT (Eligard). I currently have a PSA of .7 I recently had a PSMA scan, and the only cancer in my body at this point is in the prostate gland itself. The scans were sent to my urologist
