TURP for prostate cancer patients
It’s more than 6 months since my last post. My dad took Lu-J591 in last August 2022 and I planned to share his experience if the result’s positive. Unfortunately, his PSA did not reduce and now it is 135. From last April, he had suprapubic catheterization because of urine retention. It makes him easily

The use of prostate stem cell antigen–targeted CAR T-cell therapy was well tolerated and produced evidence of anticancer effects in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. https://www.onclive.com/view/psca-targeted-car-t-cell-therapy-demonstrates-safety-anticancer-activity-in-mcrpc

Flydoggy has flown, plant medicine journeys helped so much in our last year with him...so much.
Hello, I am Flydoggy's wife. My beautiful and amazing man crossed over on June 23rd at 4am, after an 8 1/2 year battle with this awful disease. He left calmly and peacefully, wrapped in his family. I am so sad that this cancer took him at 64 yrs old, he was vibrant and strong really, almost to the end

Metastatic PC
First diagnosed in 2017 with high grade PCand put on hormone therapy until Nov. 2019. At that time I had 28 radiation treatments and PSA dropped to 0.05. No therapy from Jan 2023 and ongoing. PSA started rising in early 2023 from 0.05, 0.08, 0.66, to 2.8 in June 2023. PSMA Pet scan shows the cancer

radiation proctitis follow up
Saw my GI doc about my persistent bleeding and clots, now accompanied by mucus, urgency, and irregular bm’s. He has scheduled another colonoscopy next week to rule out any other source of my issues. At the same time he will do Radio Frequency Ablation assuming no other source of symptoms is found.

PSMA PET Scan Question
I heard on a PCa support group call, from a retired MD, that if your PSA is below 0.1 a PSMA PET scan isn’t useful because it requires a certain level of the PSA to find metastases. Does anyone know if that’s true or is it more of a wives tale or just anecdotal? Thanks!

Liver and gall bladder
Hello ladies, I am currently experiencing a lot of pain on the right side of my torso, front and back. I have tumours ontop and inside of my liver but they are shrinking with weekly chemotherapy. Docs think pain could be pressure on a nerve or gall stones. Apparently gall stones can be caused by chemotherapy

radiation proctitis
I am almost 3 years out from radiation therapy and I’m still suffering from symptoms of radiation proctitis. I did have it confirmed by colonoscopy about a year and a half ago, at that time the gastroenterologist told me he thought it would resolve eventually but it persists. Have any of you had G.I

Options for Recurrent PCa w/ RT Initial Therapy
Looking for options with intent to cure if recurrence is limited to prostate only, pending PET-PSMA. Have read about these options: Prostatectomy/Brachytherapy/Cystoprostatectomy/Cryotherapy Anybody have any knowledge or studies that might suggest a direction? Still hoping for the possibility
