Arrhythmias
Afternoon all. I was wondering if anyone can give any advice into the use of flecainide to treat arrhythmias. I have just finished a telephone consultation with an electrophysiologist who has suggested this drug alongside the bisoprolol I currently take - it's only 1.25 and I really don't think it's

Update
Spoken to GP at length this morning regarding this awful fatigue I am suffering from, and how awful I’ve felt since starting Amlodipine. He agreed reluctantly that as I’ve been slightly better since stopping Amlodipine a week ago he would remove it from my prescription, but has increased Cozar (Losartan

Enzalutamide
Having come off a course of Docetaxel with Predislerone after seven sessions I am recommended to take Enzalutamide daily. MY PSA dropped considerably until the last session of Chemo and I'm perhaps experiencing delayed clearing of the drugs as after a CT SCan with contrast I have had unusual side effects

ENTRESTO 49/51 (+ Bisoprolol, Eplerenone, Aspirin, Simvastatin, Omeprazole, Dapagloflozin, Furosemide, Mexiletine).
My husband (79) has been on Entresto for nearly 2 years. Has no energy or strength and is tired most of the time with breathing problems after a very short walk in the garden. Hasn't seen cardiologist or had his EF checked since prescription issued. GP will not change any medication cos of heart problems

Can Bradycardia trigger AF? and Bisoprolol !
3 weeks ago I started to get long runs of AF after being AF free for 6 years after Ablation. After almost constant runs of AF and Ectopics for 2 weeks, it settled for a few days, but has come back now 3 days. But what's happening is I have a slow heart rate, its averaging between 50 - 60. I have

Stomach Bloating, Persistent Heart Palpitations, Atrial Fibrillation
Hi, I suspect that one main culprit for my severe stomach bloating which causes lots of heart palpitations (usually accompanied by belching 50-100 times) is that I am and always have been a very very stressful person and even thinking about a forthcoming event or appointment gives me the fight or flight

Low heart rate
For the past few weeks my husband has been concerned about his low heart rate averaging at 47bpm. He has a pacemaker and ICD. He takes bisoprolol 2.5mg, Candesartan 32mg and Indapamide 1.5mg. He has been feeling more light headed and dizzy but we put that down to the heat. He has a telephone appointment

Long term AF with no palpitations, what are my best options.
I was diagnosed with A F 6 years ago, I have never had any palpitations or strange episodes but fatigue and shortage of breath is my main concern, this is getting steadily worse over the years. I had a cardio version five years ago that lasted 3 days, the AF has been permanent for the last 4 years,

Lethargic
Since taking Bisoprolol my husband has had all sorts of symptoms I associate to this drug. He has the feeling of weakness especially in his legs, he feels they will go from under him. His sleep is suffering also. At the slightest hint of cold his hands turn blue and he also has a very low pulse.

Tinnitus
For the last twelve months I have been taking entresto, eplerenone, dapagliflozin and bisoprolol the combination of which have been of huge benefit. However one thing I have noticed over that period is the arrival of tinnitus. Am I alone in this?

breathlessness
for quite a while now I'm quite breathless when I'm walking or if I have to bend to pick something off the floor. I suffered a ha October last year and had 2 stents. I'm having a blood test next week to do with my heart and had a chest xray today. Was told by pharmacist it could be due to bisoprolol

Cardioversion
My consultant is recommending cardioversion as the next step in my AF treatment, primarily in order that I can stop taking bisoprolol as this appears to be impacting on my asthma. Has anyone experience of this procedure, success rates, issues with it etc?

3 years post NSTEMI much improved EF
I had an NSTEMI June 2019 and received 2 stents in LAD and LCX for 90% and 80% blockage. Before I was discharged I had an echocardiogram that showed left ventricle wall stunning due to ischemia and an ejection fraction of 46%. I hadn't seen a cardiologist since discharge and chose to see one privately

Does anyone else suffer with extreme tiredness even after sleeping well all night? I have felt tired all the time recently . I am 71 years old and have been in permanent AF for some years and chose not to go down the ablation route. I have been putting it down to the heat but not sure it is. I take

Sotalol instead of Flecainide and Bisoprolol
I've been on Flecainide and Bisoprolol for seven years . I have had some dizzy spells in the last two weeks and yesterday I was taken to hospital with a high heart rate (125) and they found a blood infection, for which they've prescribed antibiotics. But they've also replaced the Flecainide and Bisoprolol
