Extreme tiredness
I have seen from other posts that bisoprolol and dapagliflozin can cause tiredness. I am on both and frankly I feel as if I am dragging myself around and can fall asleep as soon as I sit down. This is no way to live and am now suspecting that these two meds are a contributing factor. I have tried

BP with COPD and Thyroid
I’ve been on 75 aspirin; bisoprolol 6.25mg daily; Ranolazine 375mg twice daily; and PRALUENT injections from when I had a stent fitted and my bp 145/78 pulse 58 which was great but my bp has gradually increased to 157/85 pulse 67 , I was on Allopurinol before stent was filled but I kept swelling up!

Thankyou - re: lidocaine and bisoprolol.
I just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and advice on an alternative to local anaesthetic Lidocaine for a non dental minor surgery. It seems that nobody has quite had exactly the same reaction as I had with bradycardia and plummeting BP or had a local anaesthetic, apart from lidocaine, for

thank you
hello all, I just wanted to thank everyone for you’re replies on Diltiazem. It’s very helpful to read everyone’s different response to it. I’m alway apprehensive when trying new meds but hopefully 🙏 my body will get used to the upped dose of bisoprolol 🤞. I would love to just go back in time and feel

Local Anaesthetic with bisoprolol - for non dental surgical procedures.
Hi All, I’m due to have a gynaecological out-patient procedure in the next few weeks, which will involve the need for a local anaesthetic. It can’t be carried out without some form of pain relief for me. I underwent a similar, but less invasive procedure, just under a year ago. After advising the gynaecologist

Re Bisoprolol to Solatol
Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply to my query about changing from Bisoprolol to Sotalol. I have spent a long time worrying about it as it’s true that Google gives us mixed messages about Sotalol. Of course, not all the remarks on Google are up to date, and to be frank, if you read the

Digoxin vs Pace & Ablate?
As some already know I’ve had a hard recovery since ablation on 23/11/22. HR was on the rise again slowly from then and the severe respiratory episode went on & on. Just coming to the end of what I think is maybe the 5th antibiotic course! I’ve now been on digoxin 125mcg since 28/2/22 and following

Atrial fibrillation
In 2017 I had high BP,and went to A&E with a pulse of 155, was given a bed in A&E and monitored, then given a shot of potassium into my tummy, and reverted on my own and sent home. I was then referred to the NOAC clinic and put on Edoxaban and bisoprolol Fumerate which I have continued to take to this

Thank you to all that replied to me ( Alternative to Bisoprolol) yesterday . Last night I didn’t sleep very well, I kept waking up sweating and having palpitations, more like a drum beating . I think I knew before I checked I was back in AF this morning , I used a kardiamobile . I also have an Apple

Bisoprolol to Sotalol
Hi everyone. I’ve been on 10 mgs of Bisoprolol for a year, having had the dose gradually increased since my diagnosis in 2017. This drug has served me well in lowering my heart rate when it has gone into Tachycardia territory. My cardiologist has said that if my Afib bothers me me more, then as I am
