Smartwatch ecg
Hi there everyone. I was diagnosed with mild LVSD after chemotherapy treatment and have been on bisoprolol and ramipril for a few years. I've recently discovered my watch can do ecg's , but my results do not look like my husbands and all the other 'normal' ecgs online. They have large waves. I will

Exercise exceeding Heart rate calculation
HiMy Rehab sessions have ended now. They calculated my heart rate with all the usual medication Ramipril Ticagrelor Bisoprolol Asprin Atorvastatin to be 120bpm. Now if I exceed that on exertion with exercise is that dangerous or ok. Opinions welcome. I did ask the question in the Rehab but they never

Coming off meds - any advice?
Hoping you are all having a good day. I’ve just had the news that my three month post ablation ambulatory ECG has given good results - ‘very reassuring’ and ‘no sign of AF’. So far, so good. I was told that I can stop Flecainide today and Bisoprolol after a further two months. I’d welcome your comments

Epsom Salt and essential oils foot soak query
just a quick enquiry. I bought these lovely Epsom salts to give myself a relaxing foot soak but then read the list of essential oils and thought they might not be so good after all. 🤦♀️ I take flecainide, bisoprolol, warfarin and levothyroxine. Do foot soaks mean you absorb a lot of the essential

Apixaban
I've had my Apixaban reduced from 5mg to 2.5mg, since this reduction I have had quite a lot of headaches. I tried to contact my GP, it would be easier to contact the Prime Minister. I do have other issues HBP, but it has remained stable for once. I also take Bisoprolol and a whole lot of other meds

Kidneys and way forward
My recent tales of high potassium and creatinine are unraveling .The C. and the Pot. are causing Afib. although increasing my Bisoprolol again by a smidgin has helped quieten down the Afib. GP. has not yet come up with any ideas as to way forward .I suspect he is expecting the Pot. and Creatinine

Flecainide
Hello, I have paroxysmal AFib approx every two weeks. I take edoxaban and 2.5mg bisoprolol daily but I have just been prescribed 200mg flecainide to take whenever the AFib starts. I'm just a little concerned as I've had nothing other than a telephone call from the cardiologist. He said I should have

Talking therapy
Finally got my first talking therapy session next Thursday 23rd, still very anxious when first waking in the morning but once I’m up and get myself moving I’m usually ok, been doing a lot of walking with the boss, but still just can’t get out of bed very early by what I read on here it’s the meds especially

Itchy sores on ankles - cream?
Had an anterior STEMI 13 years ago. EF is 41%. drugs = omeprazol, edistride, bisoprolol, entresto, elecor, adiro, simvastatin. I have sores on my ankles. Not looking for a diagnosis, is there a cream that can lessen the effects??

ckd stage 3
I was diagnosed with Iga nephropathy 25 years ago through having a biopsy, first sign was my eyes woke up to a cloud of smoke iritis which they couldn’t stop the build up of pressure and turned into glaucoma secondary, over the years I’ve had flare ups as I call them. Feeling unwell, always cold feet

Best time to take Bisoprolol. Morning or Night.
Are people now advised to take Bisoprolol, at bedtime , if on 10 mgs or more , is the general advice to split the dose half in morning half at night.

Low blood pressure
I have GCA with Takayasu Arteritis. I am taking Clopidogrel/ Atorvastatin/ Bisoprolol/ Tocilizumab (3 monthly), yesterday my blood pressure was 92/80. It was taken at the hospital as the doctor’s surgery can’t find it, or my pulse. I emailed my Dr with the result, and she rang me today. I told her I

wind / burp with heart rate issues
hi. Just wondered if anyone else notices that when their heart is beating fast or having palpitations they also get wind in their chest. Like I feel palpitations etc but always seem to feel like that too. Beginning to wonder if it’s common. I’ve recently started bisoprolol for my heart rate issues.
