Looking for tips and experience of regaining fitness after an ICD implant for LVT.
Hi , I am finally in full recovery mode after my recent problems with a collapse and left ventricular tachycardia diagnosis. The second ICD implant and lead revision seems to be healing well and it will be coming up to 4 weeks in a couple of days. I have been increasing my walking, including hills, over

blood pressure lower than usual
hi I posted a few weeks ago about my husband’s diagnosis of DCM. After two months, his entresto dose has been increased to 49/51 twice a day. bisoprolol remains at 1.25mg daily and empagliflozin at 10 mg daily. I am happy to say that he is feeling much more positive and doesn’t have any symptoms

Anticoagulants stopped by new consultant
I'll try to be as brief as possible! January 2019 I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism in both lungs and also AF and flutter. After various unsuccessful attempts to correct heart I had a catheter ablation June 2019 . Responded well and put on Bisoprolol and anticoagulants which I was told would

heart rate 134 when out walking
Hi all, I have PAF diagnosed Sept 23, I’m taking 1.25 Bisoprolol and 5mg x 2. I recently had my Bisoprolol reduced from 2.50 as it was making me very lacking in energy. I’m 73. We went out for a walk today, it involved a couples of inclines but nothing major, we stopped for lunch after about two miles

Bisoprolol
I was already on enalapril for HB, have now been given bisopralol 5mgs for paroxysmal afib but I'm finding it makes me continually breathless and sometimes nauseated. The gp has now given me 3.75mgs to try but not hopeful it will make any difference. Has anyone had this experience with bisoprolol?

Need help from ablation patients, please.
hello dear AF-friends! I’m in doubt about having an ablation or accepting my asymptomatic Afib episodes that are rate-controlled with Bisoprolol. To help me decide, I have a few questions for our friends here who have had an ablation. 1. Are you totally Afib-free after that single procedure? No other

Hair & Nail supplements
I have rubbish nails which aren’t very strong and my hair is on the thin side. I’ve been looking at supplements and found one which has excellent results but contains herbal ingredients such as horsetail. I asked the surgery pharmacist if I can take it and she advised not to - she said herbal ingredients

Some do and some don't
I was diagnosed with AF and slightly enlarged heart chambers, earlier this year, which has turned out to be permanent AF 24hrs every day. On reading posts it seems different procedures are given for AF with varying success. I have been prescribed Apixaban in addition to bisoprolol. My pulse seems

Hi folks -- first posting for me here; so happy to find this community! I hope that my evolving story is helpful to others with this condition and its management. I live in Canada. My first episode was detected by a Fitbit band that I have worn for years. I was reading in bed on July 18 2023. My band
