hi I’ve been having a lot of problems as of late, massive dizziness, fluttering in chest really scary stuff.I had an ilr fitted about 8 months ago , by the way I had a ha and 2 stents fitted 3 years ago.Just received a letter stating, that device as revealed,23 tachy with 4 symptoms, all tachy shows sinus tachy with max rate 160 bpm and 4 symptoms show sinus rhythm with frequent SVEs.Ive been pressing my button quite alot over last couple of days, and just had a phone call from them to tell me not to press it quite as often, but said they are picking up extra heart beats,I’m supposed to have a cardiologist appointment but they keep cancelling witch I’m disgusted with, and I’m about to ring my gp about this letter I’ve received. As anyone else had any reports like this letter I’ve received,or are having the same kind of symptoms that could throw some sort of light on it much appreciated.Just one other thing on the letter there stating to up the dosage of bisoprolol but they can’t do that as I’m already on a low dose ,and it’s brought my bp down to low and my hr in 40s my bp range from 90 over 60 to about 102 over 60.sorry for the long letter but I’m starting to get very worried

your recorder shows that all your ectopic activity up to now is supraventricular(from atria) and not from the ventricles. It's not life threatening like ventricular arrhythmmias are. No atrial fibrillation as yet which, if it occurs, would require your taking anticoagulants to prevent blood clots in the atria. Some people have to have a permanent pacemaker inserted to allow them to take enough of a dose of beta blockers to suppress troublesome atrial irritability and the pacemaker would avoid super low heart rates from happening. Perhaps meds like diltiazem or verapamil (calcium channel blockers) ,instead of beta blockers, may suppress your atrial irritability without dropping your heart rate too low. They also lower BP though. You'll have these discussions with your cardiologist. I hope this helps you understand your situation.
