Hip surgery
I'm due to have a hip replacement but nervous because I have paroxysmal A Fib. I' m on Edoxaban and have bisoprolol as a P I P, told to take after a few hours if it didn't resolve, but haven't had to take it . Would welcome some reassurance 😊

beta blockers withdrawals and hot weather
I took my last bisoprolol on Saturday which was a half of 1.25. It’s been up and down since. Monday pulse up more. Blood pressure not too bad considering Tuesday felt normal lower blood pressure pulse dropping a little. Today is Wednesday struggled today with higher pulse and anxiety and now we waited

Short spikes of raised HR?
Hello again, My ablation was mid March and I've been in NSR since bar 2 short episodes of AF that self converted when I was under extreme stress. Every now and then (once every 3 weeks or so) I guess I get a short spike of raised heart rate shown on my fitbit, if I'm sitting quietly I'm aware of it

Is vitamin K2 ok with edoxaban?
I'm in the UK I'll keep it brief but I take edoxaban and bisoprolol for afib. I'm aware that historically Warfarin has a question mark over vitamin K1 for various reasons Some people seem to monitor using inr testing but my question is that more modern anti coagulants use a different mechanism of action

Bisoprolol
HiOn 1.25mg bisoprolol for heart failure also have LVSD, AFib and had AV node ablation and pacemaker. My pacemaker is set 70bpm hr so doesn't really go any higher than this and I believe the purpose of bisoprolol is to lower heart rate, so the question is why do I need bisoprolol when my heart rate is

Confusion
Good morning all. I am a busy, working single mum. I've experienced severe breathlessness for the past 6 weeks and a racing heart (90+ bpm rest rate). Echo shows lv impairment and an ejection fraction of 45%. MRI has been booked. I've been put on ramipril and bisoprolol but absolutely wrecked. I'm in

Low BP
Most posts are for high BP but I’ve got LOW Blood Pressure. I have lots of dizziness and sometimes faint which means my husband calls the paramedics. My cardiologist told me to have salt with food to help the BP. I’m a bit uncomfortable doing this and don’t like the taste of salt but I have tried and

Side Effects or Arrhythmia?
How do you discern what is a side effect of a new med vs a side effect of arrhythmia? I feel absolutely terrible. I feel like I am 100 years old, am fatigued, feel super lethargic, and short of breath with exertion. My legs ache. I can't sleep. I feel super, super worn down and just physically unwell
