Hair loss on Pred
Does anyone know if taking Folic Acid and
Biotin
will help stop or slow down the hair shedding? Also produce new hair growth? I am going to call my Dr this morning to make sure it is safe to take with Pred. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thx..bert403

T3 or NDT?
I have been seeing Dr P and have reduced my Levo to 50mcg a day, along with taking the following supplements: NAX, NT, iron,
biotin
, vitamin c and vitamin D. My TSH has reduced quite considerably (this time last year it was 6.61), but disappointingly my symptoms remain the same.

Lost a tooth
I take Folic Acid, B6,
Biotin
, TMG and a daily multi-vitamin. A week ago a noticed a crown on an upper tooth, that has ben problematic for years, was loose. I booked an appointment with the dentist to "glue it back on again". However, during the week, my tongue would not leave that tooth alone.

body odour changed? - check this out
As a carboxylase enzyme, 3-MCC requires
biotin
for activity. There are four carboxylases in humans that use
biotin
and each can be deficient singly or together. If
biotin
metabolism is defective, functions of all four carboxylases will be low, resulting in Multiple Carboxylase Deficiency.

Odd question but has anyone found they are deficient in vitamin B7, or had a diagnosis of Palmoplantar pustulosis? Thank you.
