A biotin deficiency often affects the skin, scalp, & hair. I scramble up a couple eggs with sliced mushrooms A a few times a week to keep from becoming deficient...and snack on almonds...this helps if you can eat these. Better than supplements. As for palmoplantar, again, maintaining good healthy eating habits, esp if you have some kind of autoimmune problems or diabetes.....cut out all alcohol and sugar to see if this improves the condition along with whatever treatments your doctor is giving to ease discomfort..good luck..hope this helps.
