CSR episode update.
I finally was able to see my retina specialist to ask him questions about my reoccurring CSR. He was able to look at all of my previous scans. When I was able to see him my bleed had gone down it had been close to about 3 1/2 weeks almost a month. It has since then almost completely flattened. That’

Fibromyalgia In PD And Some Potential Relief
Fibromyalgia (FM) is slightly more common in people with PD and FM can cause all over body pain that moves around and can affect tissues, joints and muscles. This group of people with PD and FM are more likely to get dementia and have worse symptoms. FM can cause painful flare-ups at random times, but

My theory; High dose melatonin increases glutamate Excitotoxicity which is a primary cause of neurodegeneration in PD
(Editing to add; I want to be wrong about this! I likely am wrong. But given the importance, it is worth confirming. ) This is my THEORY backed up by what I am researching. I will post more on this as soon as I compile more information. I think this is so urgent that I am putting this out now. The

DHEA and Melatonin
Hiya again. I’m very two minded about these two supplements. The clinic suggested I could take them without any testing and I read that it might not be a good idea for everyone to take DHEA. My AMH was around 17 a year back so I’m not sure if taking these will just improve my egg quality without any

Melatonin
New Chinese study below [1]. There is old research that reported that melatonin prevented the androgen receptor [AR] from making its way to the nucleus of the cell. Further, that if the AR was already there, melatonin would kick it out. If the AR can't get to the nucleus, it can't perform its transcription

Going abroad but can only do a short protocol. Any experience with short protocol?
Hi everyone. After 4 failed transfers with top grade embryos, I’m planning to go abroad for embryo banking next month to see if I get any good blastocysts (due to work I’m not able to go for long durations) I’ve been on two icsi long protocols in the past and first one they only got one C grade embryo

16+ years since dx and what we’ve learned
I’ve posted before about our trials with synthetic and natural levadopa but after reading Dr. Jonathan Sackner-Bernstein‘s essay, I wanted to shout a big “hooray”! I’ve long suspected levadopa was doing more harm than good and that the whole idea that PD being all about dopamine deficiency was in some

Melatonin suppresses the metastatic potential of osteoblastic prostate cancers by inhibiting integrin α 2 β 1 expression
New study below [1]. "Advanced prostate cancer often develops into bone metastasis, which is characterized by aberrant bone formation with chronic pain and lower chances of survival. No treatment exists as yet for osteoblastic bone metastasis in prostate cancer. "... melatonin ... is a major regulator
