What is DIET food?
Hey guys. Something that came up from one of my clients who was feeling hungry in work and wanted to grab a go ahead bar for a snack as it was a low fat option. When I looked it up I realised what a sleazy deal that is being done by these so called diet bars, So before I dive in, I recommended she got

Anyone tried 'shiritaki noodles' as a low calorie option?
Hi, has anyone out there ever eaten shiritaki noodles? Apparently they are just dietary fibre and contain hardly any calories. Before I start trying to track them down I thought I'd get some reviews on them. Apparently they'd have a pasta and rice substitute version too. I first heard them mentioned

Spreading the disease
I've been reading about eating disorders, and there is the suggestion that eating disorders have become increasingly prevalent, and that this prevalence is spreading geographically. This made me think - do I have a responsibility not to contribute to this epidemic? Should I be careful about how I talk

Super Saturday Weigh-in - 11 March
Welcome to our Saturday weigh-in. It is my first time posting so I hope I get it right. Many of us are having health firsts be it joining the forum, posting for the first time, a first visit to the gym or those first weeks of a new way of viewing food. All those firsts are a great step towards a healthier

Regular night sweats with hashimotos
Morning all I wonder if anyone has any experience or advice regarding regularly waking up in the night suddenly drenched in sweat. I had it a few times before I started on levo in October. But now it's happened weekly during March. Last night I had to get up and towel down, and then shivered myself

MRI scan very very noisy and had issues about ear plugs.
I went for MRI scan to look into my inner ear yesterday and after wards my hyperacusis was louder. I went home and could hear all the different banging, clanging and thudding sounds of the machine all night long in my bed. I knew beforehand there was a risk so I took my own ear plugs which were superior

Do I NOW have an Eating Disorder?
One month ago, I wrote a post here, wondering if I had an eating disorder. One and a half month later, now I think I do. My friend, as I mentioned before, told me she was bulimic. But she recently stopped, and slowly stopped eating, so I assume she's anorexic. She told me she wanted to be as thin as

Hi guys, I was wondering about how should I tell my Gp that I no longer restrict, my weight is more than ok, and so technically everythings is fine but in my head everything still revolves around my food issues. Kind of see myself just as a Ed sufferer or a Ed fighter or whatever..when what I wish I

really cant cope with it anymore!!
I lost control then and started
binge
eating
again. I take loads of caffeine tablets every day to try and suppress my appetite and make me feel like i have some energy. I constantly think about ways i can hurt myself and feel so disgusting in my own body.

Give up the YO-YO
Hi all. Been a while since I did a post. Been really busy at work. So I thought I would talk about the type of diet it sounds like a lot of people here have been on. Namely the Yo-yo diet. I would be interested to know how many people on this forum have lost a ton of weight and then put it all back on

A couple of boxes ticked ✅ after getting Neonatal BM
My little man has had his 8 week check which thankfully he passed on head control and passed his hearing test. Yeay He has his follow up care meeting yesterday and they did a couple of Basic tests they were happy with. Fingers crossed! We are quietly optimistic for the future. We are so proud of him

Struggling & becoming desperate
I've struggled with depression & weight,

eating
most of my life now. Bullied all of my childhood a lot of adulthood. Hardly ever worked. Never had a relationship. Was doing better but I now have to leave my home of 16 years. Lots of problems with benefits.
