Weird ear for over a year, saw ENT ordered MRI straight away, got one tomorrow after a couple of weeks.. Symptoms suddenly worse this week
About a year ago i went to a gp about a weird feeling in my left ear, thinking she would say it was blocked she didnt even look in but noticed my glands were swollen so said i had a viral infection and it will clear up soon... So i left it at that (kinda felt silly going) The blocked feeling has continued

Vegan Cream of Tomato and Chicory soup with home made Gluten Free bread rolls, π π₯£
Hi folks, today I'm visiting this afternoon so whilst I made some bread I made a quick and easy soup to warm me up as its only 1 & 1/2 mile walk through the allotments. So here's the soup and the ingredients, its tomatoes, white onion and chicory, with fresh coriander and black pepper for seasoning

Stephen Fry has prostate cancer, will he heed my advice?
I go on and on about my style of living. This is not to gain some moral higher ground, rather I don't want anyone else to get as low on the health ladder as I descended. Well it seems that Stephen Fry is heading that way since today he has revealed he has prostate cancer. What is his diet? He has

Too Overweight to Date?
I am relatively new to this forum and do not go on it much. Here's the problem. -I am an older woman who has been divorced for many years now. After my divorce I had an 8 year relationship with someone. That ended 2 years ago. I have no other way to meet men except on dating sites. I work from home and

A Complete Protein
This has to be one of the best vegetarian meals. Cheap and easy to make. You get all your essential amino acids in one meal and is so tasty π. I must try making my own baked beans in an effort to reduce the sugar content.

Had an MRI scan now they say I need a CT scan
I developed pulsating tinnitus in December mainly in my left ear. Since then I have learned to live with it but having tests. The first one was a hearing test - slight hearing loss. Next an MRI on Sunday. On Tuesday I got a message to say that a CT scan had been arranged for this Thursday. I phoned to

Iodine
Can anyone confirm what type of iodine is used in levothyroxine? I use povidone iodine (diluted) on my dog sometimes for itchy skin from mowed grass. After much research one site listed active ingredient in Levothyroxine as povidone iodine? Povidone I always thought was what medical staff use as topical

Winter thyroid off?
Hi all, I was diagnosed in summer last year, and man was it nice to see my symptoms fade, the most hated of all of them being uncontrollable, rapid weight gain. Unfortunately my doctor wouldn't increase my dose when it was badly needed, so I self medicate. Everything had been good until the month and

Anyone had Azithromycing please?
Hi After I've had a hearing test already had ACG my specialist will be trying me on Azithromycing. Been prescribed as specialist thinks asthma is driven by infection, I suffer badly with tree & grass pollen. Just wondering if anyone has been on it and how they coped with it.
