Running through water ...
I work hard and love my job but I can't do household duties without a serious cost to my emotional well being. It isn't laziness. I actually feel physical pain when I even think about doing some tasks. The pain I feel causes me to feel exhausted and I need to lie down. I have spoken to my GP about this

On the slippery slope back into binge eating disorder
I was discharged from the eating disorder service in February and was doing really well (I even lost some weight!), however after having a tooth removed a month ago, which required eating soft foods for a couple of weeks, I am starting to lose my grip on the eating disorder again. Trying to find soft

Binge eating and NHS pressure to lose weight
But when you read the NHS information on
binge
eating
(caused by dieting and pressure to be thin more often than not) at the end there's a paragraph about weight loss. NHS, get off my case and leave me to decide whether to lose weight or not!

๐Ear, Ear ๐ Yay, it's fixed!
I just wanted to give a quick update as I had so many messages of support when I had hearing loss to the one ear that I can usually hear with last Friday. I had a bit of a panic as my other ear is profoundly deaf, and I was struggling to hear at all. My GP referred me back to the fabulous ENT department

Newbie who wants to start losing weight
Hi. I'm Dennis, just joined today and want to lose between 3-4 stone over the next 12-18 months if possible. I've started walking between 8,000 and 10,000 steps per day and plan to cycle 50 miles per week. Running is out of the question due to knee problems. I need to address my diet. Any good suggestions

Group B Strep meningitis
Hi folks, have just found this page so this is my first post. I wanted to share our story.. My daughter was diagnosed with meningitis at 8 days old, due to group b Strep. It was something we had never heard of, despite having another child, so it was all a bit of a blur. Not knowing it was something

Hi...new to the forum
Hi, I'm Cassie, I've just discovered the forum and am hoping to tap into your expertise! I'm still learning how it works so please bear with me! I'm a 36 year old Londoner, with one son (aged 9) and work as a breast cancer nurse. I first developed Tinnitus about 2.5 years ago. I ignored it for a few

Hello all, how are you this fine day? I've been back at choir today (I sing in a Rock Choir) and was surprised how much I'd missed it - such a lovely bunch of people and our choir leader makes us laugh - a lot! He's a natural comic and extrovert. We are singing "Don't Stop Believin'" (Group called journey

My first meal of today
I really like start my day with this type of foods including avocado, labneh, boiled eggs, mixed raw veggies (celery, zucchini, garlic and mixed sprouts - lentils and fenugreek) with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice seasoning with salt and black pepper. I do rotate the green & raw veggies from

Morning all, well I went to weigh in today at the completion of week 4, last week I weighed in at 15 stone 3lb and 6 oz. I stood on the scales with the same routine that I have done since the start of the twelve week plan, and initially the scales read 15 stone 2lb and 4oz, I got off and back on again

Working out and eating right and put on weight
So I eat well, cook most from scratch, I go to the gym at least 5 times a week with a mix of cardio and weight training. I really struggling with my weight and always have done. I recently invested in a PT to help me at the gym in the hopes this may kick start something. I have been in a good routine

Overweight
I think I have an eating disorder because everytime I think about losing weight I want to eat unhealthy. I am not making a joke out of it I am completely serious. I don't currently have any medical issues that would warrant losing weight other than my self esteem.

Am I crazy feeling this way?
Since yesterday I have been feeling really hungry (and I am eating enough and yummy food) but I (shame) miss feeling stuffed -
eating
a bag of crisps and
binge
-ing out etc etc etc. Somehow my brain is missing that very very full feeling. Has anyone else ever felt this way?
