I am starting with Berberine. I think I feel better when I take it.

Too much berberine can have / has constipating effects so maybe it's (more) useful for persons with a diarrhea predominant forms of IBS. If you do a search on the world wide Web you can find much information on berberine and diarrhoea / diarrhea.

So, basically was researching recently and discovered that Berberine may have very positive effects (in some studies was found to be more effective) for insulin resistance, lowering blood sugars and cholesterol as well as PCOS given that IR is a very large factor of PCOS.

Hi, I'm starting a new experiment with myself, a combination of cinnamon and berberine to rebalance the methane producing organisms in my bowel. I have been using berberine for a long time and it has some positive effect but not enough. That's why I'm adding cinnamon now.

I added equal parts of each substance to the berberine in water to see which, if any substance, would dissolve the berberine. To the far left is the plain berberine. Baicalein and Piperine are the blue ribbon winners.

Maybe if I took the berberine everyday like I was supposed to, per the studies, I would be at 200 where the docs want me.

I was sad I could not find AICAR, but I was already taking Berberine and it may be something good.

I take these: - Levo 50mcg - Vitamin D 4,000 IU drops - Folic Acid 5mg - Myo Inositol - Berberine 1g - 1.5g (this is new and I'm planning to take 500mg 2-3 times a day depending on how many meals I have, a bit like metformin, just instead of). Which of these is a problem together? Ps.
