I stopped Berberine because it seemed to mess with my blood sugar. I would get weak and start shaking before a meal and had to endure because you are not suppose to take C/L before or after a meal. I am not diabetic and don't have anyway of measuring my blood sugar at home.

The recommended is not to take C/L for an hour before and 2 hours after. I only go hour before and after.

That suggest to me that you are eating soo much carbohydrate and because the body is programmed to use blood sugar first in order to stop it getting too high and damaging nerves, your mechanism for running off ketones and the mechanism for generating gucose (glucogenesis) has gone dormant.

Noted: I try, I have cut back tremendously, but I do give in to my sweet-tooth occasionally.
