Constantly sore, swollen gums!
According to my dentist I have healthy gums and teeth and I have regular check ups. However, I suffer badly from sore, swollen gums at the immediate base of various teeth - particularly lower jaw. It seems as if my gums react really easily to anything that may "bruise" them. It really pulls me down as

Yesterday I had a mouth biopsy for lichen planus. Afterwards I had a really bad headache and am now suffering sensitivity to light and difficulty swallowing. The dental hospital says it not due to the biopsy. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Dizziness, root canal.
I have had dizziness for 2 years now and no Dr can find out why. All blame it on psychology. However I had root canal treatment around this time and went to my dentist last week to talk to him he said back teeth roots can go into the sinuses and put pressure on them. Just wondered if anyone here suffering

Advice re symptoms please
Hi After a long road and seeing many GPs and an Endo who couldn't help, I have finally found a GP who thinks I have subclinical hypothyroidism and maybe some pituitary issues. I was originally signed off work in Nov and I eventually resigned from my job due to symptoms such as exhaustion, panic attacks

Hello, I was taken off Carbimizole last month after taking it for 18 months. I am hyperthyroid and have Graves disease. Over the last two weeks I've have a horrible metallic taste in my mouth and wondered if anyone else had experienced this problem? Thanks.

So sore!
I keep having trouble with my mouth and my throat. My mouth keeps cracking open at the sides and is really hard to keep moistured. It is really dry no matter what I put on it and I keep having ‘burning mouth symdrome’ where I feel as though I’ve eaten loads of chillis all at once! Then comes the sore

visit to foot care assistant!
Hello everybody, it was that time again, to sit in a chair and have someone with metal instruments pick at my toenails, oh what joy ha ha. As I sat there it reminded me of going to the dentist, where a different person with metal instruments pick at my teeth, that joy comes in 2 weeks! and what fun that

Antibiotics
Because of my Mitral Valve damage I have to be given antibiotic cover when I have certain dental treatment. I find this knocks my digestive system out of whack and I have been told this is because the antibiotics kill of the good bacteria in the gut. My question is has anyone got any advice about how

Teeth
Morning everyone, I am wondering if anyone has some advice. I have really painful teeth (gums) I am scrupulously clean by brushing and flossing but nothing seems to help. My teeth are breaking at the back, and in general are ultra sensitive and bleed. Is this linked to fibromyalgia as I don’t want to

Sore throat
I’m on Carbimazole and I have developed a slight sore throat today. Is it something to worry about or not as my fiancé has recently had a cold?

Has anyone got any tips on how to get rid of oral thrush. I'm so fed up with having a sore mouth and everything tasting disgusting. I've tried Nystatin but it's not working for me.
