Finally put on the 100mg patches which have made a difference in terms of I'm not a complete emotional wreck and can function with life better. But I have gained so much weight, I've gone up nearly two dress sizes since

Updates- 😱😤🤯🧐
Hi Feel like the only ones that will understand are people who are the same as me. I previously posted that I had been listed for surgery as a priority 2. So I saw two consultants this week and was told that I havent been listed at all. 🤯😵😤 However both the consultants I have seen were brilliant

It has been a couple months now off prednisone per doctors recommendations. As a reminder, the Rheumy believed I did not have PMR despite the elevation of inflammation markers and the success of prednisone because I am 49yo. Since I have been off I have been in pain daily in shoulder, pelvis, hands

Hello, I have had bloods done by Blue Horizon and wondered if any kind soul could interpret these numbers for me. Have been having a lot of what I thought were thyroid symptoms weight gain, constipation, dry skin, cracked heels, nails that are weak and won’t grow, fatigue, hair fall etc as TSH is on

Can menopause trigger hypothyroidism?
When I turned 50 (few years ago now) over a few months my health changed, I developed weakness, brain fog, insomnia, heat intolerance, poor appetite, joint aches, atrophy etc etc. I even stopped exercising when I had been reasonably fit before. GP sent off some bloods and called me within days to start

Just posted a really long reply about hrt but wanted to ask does anyone here have really bad pain the bridge of the nose when having a migraine/cluster headache? I always have done and I have banged on about this to health professionals for years and not one of them has ever suggested an examination

High TPO but normal TSH?
Hi there, I am a normally fit and healthy 51 year old female but have been feeling quite unwell over the last 2 years with intermittent spells of fatigue, frequent headaches, facial pain/sinus issues, lowness in mood. I am on HRT but this has made no difference. I have a history of 'borderline' thyroid

Hey everyone, and a happy new year! I haven’t been active in ages as I had such a bad couple of months following my last transfer in august. I ended up getting pregnant but got late onset OHSS and also had an infection which could not be found initially, ended up in hospital for a week and my HCG

Unsure to be worried or not! Possible NAFLD
Hello, I went to my docs in October to ask for HRT and have high CRP levels which has caused all sorts of tests. They were 22 in Oct, 18 in dec and 15 in January. My ferritin was slightly raised (currently 163 should be under 150) but she said that inflammation goes together. There was a query that I
