New to this..
Couple all of this with other big/hard life situations (my Dad being diagnosed with cancer last year and the ongoing rehab of a
back
injury
), as well as work pressure and the guy I was recently seeing breaking things off.. well yeah, it's a lot and I feel like I just can't catch a break right now.

air flow heating
it’s winter Walker again , I spoke to the lung and asthma help line and found out I had not been taking my trimbo correctly so I’m hoping the walking is going to improve. I live in a private rented flat which for heating has an air flow system. Once I heard that it’s bad for lungs, I have been using

The reason given was that there was a major spinal
injury
and nothing could be done. Going
back
to my prior MRI, I’m convinced that the surgery was too late to avoid the injury. Now I’m walker/wheelchair inside and wheelchair only outside. I’m incontinent for the same reason.

Slow mental processing
I had a head
injury
when I was younger (
back
occipital area). Although I have an awareness of study skills and have even taught it to others, it takes me a while to grasp new concepts, especially with practical skills.

Article of interest outlining the complex nature of the brain. Extracts from research into Hyperacusis (and associated Tinnitus)
I'm sharing this, as I think it's interesting. Whilst this is an extract from a scientific study about Hyperacusis, it discusses Tinnitus (mentioned 34 times). Im afraid it doesn't have conclusive answers, but further understanding helps me better accept these two apparently interrelated conditions.

W6R1 completed.
Slowly getting back into running after a few challenging years of a niggling old
back
injury
, new 3 disc neck injury and a nice dose of covid. Week 4 I did twice as I felt I wasn’t progressing enough. Now have just completed W6 R1 the other day and R2 later today.

Hereditary spastic paraparesis (HSP) and Ataxia how do you get diagnosed with HSP?
I wondered if you could point me in the direction of how to get a diagnosis of HSP? If anyone has one and or are in the same position as me. I am seeking answers. I have an extremely rare chromosome duplication with very little known about it. I have had a look at some research papers and there was

Tomorrow's EP appointment
Whilst awaiting followup appointment, had awful
back
and shoulder pain( old
injury
aggravated by time on table) No AF or Flutter at all since procedure. This was 5 months on. GP told me to stop antiarryhmic drugs completely and take ibuprofen. Within 24 hours full blown AF.

More spleen chat
Hi I have MF diagnosed in February I am on Jakavi 20 twice daily started at the end of March . Since before I was diagnosed with MF I have had spleen discomfort. A scan in the spring showed the spleen to be 18 cm. I had hoped that the Jakavi would have reduced the spleen by now but I still have discomfort

#Photowalk May/June : Repeating Patterns
Having said that, I’m coming
back
from a calf
injury
that I got whilst gardening! Hope that doesn’t repeat! So for our May/June photo challenge I thought we’d do something abstract: REPETITION!

SCT update
Hello friends, I have been out of hospital for a few weeks now and am just starting to feel stronger. Today is day +65.Blood counts are slowly improving but I daren't take anything for granted. The main issue now is that I have developed skin GVHD; the itching is horrendous though Dermovate cream helps

Back to Square One
Hello all, I am finally
back
into running after a long break due to an
injury
. After overcoming all the envy, self pity and procrastinaiton, I managed to get up and jog. I must say it felt amazing to put in the action and follow it up with that small jog.
