AV Node Ablation
Does anyone know the normal procedure following an
AV
Node
ablation
? I had this procedure done on 6 October and I have an appointment next Friday at the Pacemaker Clinic for my PM to be re-programed to 70 bpm and then 4 weeks later reduced again to 60 bpm.

Post Second Ablation help pls
Further
ablation
required at IVC end. Atrial Myopathy hence
Av
Node
ablation
should be done if AF recurs. The trouble is the AF episodes getting picked up by the PM in first place. When I've had them nothing seems shows on their end.

Ablation of AV node after pacemaker put on in July
Well, I have finally had the
AV
node
Ablation
, after having the pacemaker placed in July. Now I don’t get arrhythmia anymore but very fast pulsations and low rates, always around the 80s and at rest 75. Guess the pm needs to adjust to a more acceptable pace. Waiting to see. Any ideas, please.

A “success story” , finally.
And in July 2023 I have a pacemaker insertion then in November had the
AV
Node
ablation
. It was needed a few weeks/months to deal with the heart's rate adjustment. And today I am happily feeling better than for long time. While the AF is still active it could not affect my heart function.

AV Node Ablation and Medication
A few days ago I posted a query concerning the procedure re medication following an AV node abalation because, having made enquiries, I couldn't get a definitive answer as to what should be happening about coming off or reducing Sotalol. I had an appointment with the Pacemaker Clinic for last Friday

Update and Plan
He said worst case scenario, if it just gets worse and worse, he could do an
AV
node
ablation
and pacemaker, but that is obviously his last choice for options. He seemed to understand that the meds may just be a stop gap and that ultimately, I will be back in the EP lab.

AV node ablation with Pasmaker
Has anyone up there is surviving and how long since your
AV
node
ablation
and PM insertion? On July 28th I had put the PM in, and my EP doctor told me that in August I would have the Ablation. But his nurse said that the Doctor forgot to tell her to put me in the list for the Ablation procedure.

AV Node Ablation Good News
After all of that and the worry of always looking for where a hospital would be when I traveled the decision to have the
AV
Node
Ablation
seemed like the best avenue for some continued years. The good news is that I had a PM installed in April, 2023 and the
AV
Node
ablation
in May, 2023.

AV Node Ablation and Pacemaker
Hi lovely people, I promised I’d get back to you after seeing a cardiologist/electrophysiologist privately. As you might guess from the title, this is what he believes will solve my problem. I will still be in persistent Afib, but won’t feel it. In the meantime he has doubled my digoxin dose and I will

AV Node Ablation Adjustments
I had my
AV
Node
Ablation
2 months ago with my PM set at 80 on the bottom and 100 at the top. I walk daily approximately one mile and find I need multiple stops to catch my breath. My HR goes into low 90's and I wait about 2 minutes until it goes back into the mid 80's.

Atrial Fibrillation
Hi, I have suffered with AF since 2018 resulting in 4 cardioversions and 3 ablations (the last was on Friday 17th May and was an
AV
node
ablation
linked with connection of a previously implanted Pacemaker. I had hoped that I would be feeling great, no breathlessness.
